Parts Advisor - Hull

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at our Hull Depot. You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial parts experience ideally within a franchised dealership.

Salary: £24,500k to £27,000k + Bonus

39 hours per week Monday to Friday, (Overtime rates paid at time & half, averaging 6 hours per week)

You must provide the highest standard of quality and service; build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customers. You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ordering specialist parts, undertaking inventory checks to ensure all parts are delivered and are correct.
You will be expected to maintain your own product knowledge and awareness of promotions etc.

Main Duties:
·Handle the day-to-day running of the stores.
·Receipting in and booking out of parts
·Serve both the front and back counter.
·Booking parts to job cards and checking over job cards
·Carrying out perpetual stock checks
·Completing reports when required
·Handle warranty and surcharge parts

It is key that you have the following:
·Excellent customer service skills dealing with internal and external customers
·Ability to provide sound advice and guidance on products and parts
·Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and promptly
·Knowledge of stock control
·Team player
·Fork lift truck licence (desirable)

Shift Pattern
Day Shift : 07.00-15.15 Mon -Thurs and 07-15.30 Friday
Back Shift: 15.00-23.30 Mon Thurs and 15.00-22.30 Friday
Salary = £17 - £18 per hour.
The Role
·Maintenance and repair of vehicle chassis and cab to meet current legislation Health and Safety and VOSA requirements both in the workshop and on the roadside
·Maintenance and repair of waste handling equipment, including electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
·Carry out scheduled service and inspections to meet company Operators licence commitments
·Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
·Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
·Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
·Assist the foreman with H&S issues, including reviewing risk assessments, COSHH, compliance database etc, along with the day-to-day operations of the workshop.

Requirements

·Appropriate technical qualifications.
·MOT preparation

·HGV licence preferable but not essential, fully funded training can be provided for the right candidate
