Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Developer to play a pivotal role in identifying and securing B2B opportunities related to perfumery events, training, gifting and new product design. Your in-depth knowledge of the Asian market will be invaluable in achieving our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify, approach, and establish partnerships with leading brands in the APAC region.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to promote Oo La Lab's fragrance offerings for events, activations, and private label manufacturing.
Leverage your industry network to uncover new opportunities and generate leads.
Market Expertise:
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the APAC market, including market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt our fragrance solutions to meet the unique demands of key markets across Asia.
Government and Tourism Relations:
Utilize your experience in government and tourism to explore collaboration opportunities with relevant authorities and organizations.
Identify and participate in tourism-related events and initiatives to promote Oo La Lab's offerings.
Solution Sales:
Understand client needs and propose tailored fragrance solutions, including events, training programs, and private label partnerships.
Collaborate with our fragrance experts to create bespoke scents that align with client objectives.
Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Ensure contracts and agreements are in place to secure long-term partnerships.
Reporting:
Provide regular reports on market insights, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or account management
Experience working with government and tourism organizations.
Deep understanding of the Asian market, including key players and market dynamics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a passion for innovation in the fragrance industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
