About the Opportunity

In the PwC Private - Business Tax team, you’ll find yourself in a culture that values and inspires confidence and client loyalty by demonstrating a deep understanding of our clients, their businesses, and the industries they operate in. You'll use your skills and experience on working with complex corporate tax compliance and consulting advice, domestic tax issues including consolidation and restructuring advice, international tax matters, and involvement in mid-market M&A transactions (including undertaking tax due diligence and acquisition tax structuring). Working with clients through all stages of their business life cycle including growth and succession/exit, developing solutions for the complex problems that arise in each stage. As a Senior Manager - Director in PwC Private - Business Tax team, the top three skills you’ll need to hit the ground running are:

Significant tax experience as a corporate or private clients tax consultant/accountant.

Understanding in key accounting and tax principles

Key focus and passion in the mid-market private business space

A masters of tax qualification will be looked on favorably.

As a Transaction Services - Senior Consultant in our Private Clients team your impact will be seen by:

Detailing data collection, analysis, and modeling
Identifying key value drivers and deal breakers
Completing buy and sell-side financial due diligence reports
Completing pre-lend reviews for Financiers
Contributing to investigating accountant work on Initial Public Offerings
Working directly with other 3rd party advisor teams
About you

You have a background in or are passionate about providing financial due diligence services supporting companies acquiring or divesting businesses or raising expansion capital projects, you will have the opportunity to work with and assist our leaders with all facets of transactions, participate in a collaborative team, with a focus on knowledge sharing and thought leadership, and focus on building lasting relationships as a trusted advisor to world-class clients.

You have a commercial and analytical focus in influencing and advising clients, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, a team-focused style with strong organizational and project management skills, self-motivated, confident, and proactive, strong focus on building client relationships - internal and external. Tertiary qualified in Accounting/Commerce/Business or related qualification and studies undertaken in CA, CFA, Master of Finance, FINSIA or similar discipline are highly advantageous.
