Support the JSOX IT general control (ITGC) framework and related activities.
Confirm that ITGC’s and JSOX control frameworks are organized, maintained, and measured across the Corporate IT environment.
Provide insight regarding financial risk, Application and IT Controls, and their relationship with IT systems.
Interact with and support Financial/IT Audit engagements.
Interface with IT stakeholders and service providers to validate that adequate short-term mitigations and long-term sustainable remediations for open findings are in place for any control deficiencies.
Experience in access role architecture design or in providing advisory/auditing services over ERP access roles.
Understanding of business process risk and related controls.
Experience in mitigating risks associated with Segregation of Duties issues both systematically through role and access changes as well as manually to address that systemic access was not exploited.
Prepare reports/presentations on the status of the compliance process for stakeholders including, but not limited to process owners, senior management, executive management, and Audit Committee.
Bachelor and / or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology or Information Security
CPA is preferred.
4+ years of experience working with or auditing IT General Controls in a SOX or JSOX compliant entity.
Experience working with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
GRC Access Control is preferred but not required.
Big 4 public accounting experience with Fortune 500 clients is preferred.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, ITIL, etc) is preferred

Review and document all worker’s compensation claims data, investigating cause of reported claims, and supporting the determination of compensability of all accidents/injuries.

Provide direction on claims dispositions, negotiations, reserve adequacy, and subrogation
Ensure reserve accuracy and action plans are defined.
Supervise utilization of the Worker’s Compensation Managed Care networks, identifying deficiency and corrective action
Provide direction on claims dispositions, negotiations, reserve adequacy and subrogation
Communicate with TPA as they set claim reserves.
Ensure an accurate diagnosis, prognosis, & medical plan of treatment.
Evaluate the need for and authorize independent medical examinations.
Direct claims adjusters in the selection and utilization of Field Case Nurses.
Establish and maintain relationship with Operations, Safety, HR, and Legal
Ensure compliance with ADA regulations.
Suggest best practice improvements for internal processes.
Manage special projects in support of Bridgestone as assigned.
REQUIRED:
Bachelor Degree required preferably in Risk Management, Insurance or a related field of study.
4+ years full-time claims management experience with Retail/Manufacturing experience.
Strong technical claims knowledge
Knowledge of insurance policy language and insurance coverage
Strong Microsoft Office skills
PREFERRED:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid analytical and interpretive skills
Detail-oriented with claims supervision experience
Strong organizational skills with ability to navigate a matrixed environment
Conflict management skills, to stay calm and composed under pressure situations
Multi-State claims handling

Demonstrate competency surrounding key regulations regarding consumer and small business lending and credit card operations including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (“BSA/AML”), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”), Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), Fair Lending, and Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts and Practices (“UDAAP”). Develop a comprehensive maturation strategy for the newly installed Internal Audit department. Strategy will include improving foundational processes/methodology, and annual risk assessment framework.
Provide leadership oversight of the planning, execution and reporting of internal audits and projects, including the supervision of internal and co-sourced auditors as well as coordination with second line compliance and risk management functions.
Review engagement planning documentation and audit programs to ensure adequate coverage of risk and sufficient rationale for audit scope and audit procedures performed. Maintain close control over budget, schedule, resources, co-sourced audit relationship and quality.
Effectively review and compile relevant, material findings and recommendations into readable and concise audit reports. Communicate complex results and implications, incorporating different perspectives into deliverables.
Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders. Learn and understand the business to provide value-added services and establish credibility as a trusted advisor. Leverage specialized knowledge and skills, providing management with insight into their area of subject-matter focus, building trust and mutual respect. Effectively represent internal audit at management meetings, internal forums, and regulatory update meetings as well as to external organizations.
Coach and manage a team of audit professionals, internal and/or external, to enhance the audit processes and continuous improvement.
Identity potential risks and adjust the audit plan, as necessary, as the CFNA business changes or industry trends or regulations change.
Identify and promote audit best practices related to CFNA’s core platforms, applications, and capabilities.
Participate in new initiatives related to changes or expansion of various business lines on behalf of Audit as well as lead initial control reviews as part of Audit’s due diligence efforts.
Deliver appropriate, succinct, and organized information, tailoring communication style to audience.
Champions innovative techniques, the power of data, and other methods to add value and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Audit function and other lines of defense.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline
Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of experience in internal auditing, including:
7+ years of experience in banking or financial services
5+ years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles
Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or CISA (Certified Information System Auditor)
Experience with consumer lending or credit card operations
Strong management, organization, and prioritization skills to effectively lead, manage, and concurrently deliver multiple projects of varying size and scope.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly review, understand and analyze business and IT processes to identify control deficiencies, operating issues, and opportunities for improvement.
