Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct regular audits of financial procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic planning.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
• Ensure compliance to financial policies, procedures, budgets and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant in a wholesale and distribution setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issues delivery orders, invoices, debit/credit memos, job orders, consignment notes, etc
• Manage basic accounting entries
• Process and coordinate deliveries to our retailers and customers
• Attend to customers’ requests and provide good after-sales support.
• Attend to customers’ enquiries from both online and offline sales channels.
• Submit invoices by electronic data interchange.
• Process and disseminate daily & weekly reports.
• Data management and filing.
• Liaise with our 3rd party service providers to provide delivery and installation services.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Min GCE 'N/O' level, preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in a call centre environment
• Meticulous and result-driven
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with a positive service mind-set
• Proficient in MYOB will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications

Jobs Description

· Preparation of monthly financial reports such as monthly journals, full set of account and assist in the preparation of Management Report.

· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Inventory Management

· GST

· Expenses Claim

· Cash Management

· Issue delivery orders, Invoices, Debit/Credit/consignment note

· Handing trade financing transactions. (LC/TR/DP/OA/TT)

· Support HR and admin function

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or other equivalent accounting qualification, such as LCCI Intermediate, ACCA or CIMA.

· At least 2 year(s) of working experiences in the related wholesale and retail trade.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Analytical, meticulous, resourceful and result-driven.

· Able to work overtime occasionally.

· Proficient in MYOB or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

· Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel/Pivot-table.

· Knowledge of BI software for management reports preparation will be an advantage.
