Summary

To research and develop innovative Security products for ASEAN region as well as provide technician support to Operations Division. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of different types of security systems.

Responsibilities:

• To research and develop new products and services

• Researching about competitor’s products and evaluation of detailed function of their products

• Conduct Market Research on products of Security System in ASEAN region

• Cooperate with Japan HQ R&D and China R&D center for product development

• Conduct Survey about existing and future infrastructure, electrical power / telecom network etc. to ensure compatibility of security products and services

• Provide support as Field Technical Specialist and visiting clients to check and maintain CCTV Surveillance System

• Assist in obtaining required technical certifications for new / existing products for each countries

• Design and develop test plans for security alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems, adhering to industry standards and company protocols

• Conduct rigorous testing of all system components, including control panels, sensors, cameras, access readers, and communication devices

• Simulate real-world security scenarios to identify and address potential vulnerabilities

• Maintain detailed test records and reports for future reference

• Analyze test results, identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and document findings clearly

• Work collaboratively with manufacturer or distributor to resolve identified issues and ensure system optimization

• Provide technical support to internal customers in ASEAN region

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging security technologies and their potential application

• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for finding suitable new product

• Conduct research about standards like SS558, EN, IEC for ASEAN countries

• Stay up-to-date on the latest security technologies and testing methodologies

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification Diploma in Electronics

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security system testing, preferably with exposure to alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools used in security system evaluation

• Strong understanding of electronic security principles and operation of various security system components

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in basic IT knowledge is required

• Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members

• Ability to conduct presentation for internal customers and management

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple systems simultaneously

Job Duties & Responsibilities:-

• To provide technical troubleshooting support to customers on alarm issues in an effective and efficient manner.
• To monitor and respond to alarm signals within service level targets.
• To attend to customers’ enquiries on products, accounts and services, and offer alternatives solutions to fulfill customer needs, ensuring total customer satisfaction.
• To gather customer feedback, identify problem trends and highlight to Team Leader & Supervisors for discussion, service enhancement and resolution of problems.
• To ensure that standard operational procedures (SOP) are adhered to.

Job Description

Job Description:

• Handle all inbound calls routed into customer service hotline through 1800-881-1111.
• Speaks with empathy over the phone especially to all kinds of related termination requests directly from customers and direct request to Retention Team.
• Contact account holder via outgoing phone calls and email to remind them on their outstanding payments and commit dates for payment.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers by liaising directly with customers on any queries/issues related to billing.
• Monitor and follow up with account holders on payment dates.
• Raise waivers or credit notes for customer dispute cases when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely records and tracking of all billing cases
• Assist in the preparation of reports and accounts loading.
• Help in sending statement of account, reminder letters and tax invoices to account holders.

Requirement:

3. Work together with SECOM HQ to design, implement and sustain IT environments in SECOM Smart Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, where appropriate and reasonable, particularly in the area of MASterMind.

As a Service Engineer, you have to :

• Attend to ad-hoc service call at cusotmers' premises and responding to calls for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance service request in accordance with the Company’s Service Agreement.
• Liaise with the customers and sub-contractors in regards to all aspect on add-on project activities.
• Monitor the progress of the work done closely to ensure that the shcedule and quality of work are met.

You should:

Main Tasks

Perform SECOM SMART (Singapore) Pte Ltd’s full set accounts including :

a. Handle the full spectrum of Account Payables function

b. Assist in the day-to-day financial operations.

c. Preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, reconciliation of accounts and reporting packages.

d. Assist in yearly statutory audit, including collate / prepare audit schedules, draft statutory accounts and attend to auditors’ queries as well as yearly XBRL filing.

e. Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting on a monthly basis.

f. Handle quarterly GST submission.

g. Handle yearly tax computation and income tax filling.

h. Assist in annual budget and ad-hoc forecast.

2. Leading, monitoring and assisting the Account Receivables and Account Payables team, including recommend control, streamline financial process and enhance efficiency.

3. Responsible for SECOM Singapore’s assets management and inventory functions, including Involve in routine and yearly stock-take finance processes, prepare bi-annual slow moving stock listings and yearly inventory NRV listing an assist in resolving all inventory issues.

4. Play a pivotal role in data validation and data migration to the implemented system, ensuring seamless and accurate data transfer. Collaboration closely with other teams to identify, document, and communicate any issues or discrepancies encountered during the data migration process. Provide support to address any data-related issues that may arise post-migration, minimizing disruptions to business operations.

5. Work with team to digitalize/automate billing processes, reports and workflow.

6. Ad hoc duties as assigned by Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

· Diploma/Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institute and/or min 5 yrs working experience in relevant accounting environment

· At least 5 years’ experience in a financial related position, such as financial analyst or accountant

Work based competencies:

· Proficient in using ERP system (Microsoft Navision) will be an added advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
