About this opportunity

The primary purpose of the Production Manager is the overall management and performance of end-to-end operations producing an estimated 5,000 tonnes of recycled resin per year.

The Production Manager is responsible for managing operations of the plastic recycling plant. Whilst this position will be a day shift role, you will have four direct reports Maintenance Fitter & three Shift Leaders, operating on a 24/5 roster at the Wacol facility which will result in non-frequent site meetings across all shifts and supporting any breakdowns that occur.

About this opportunity

We specialise in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging servicing for the consumer and industrial sectors. Working onsite at our Tullamarine location as Production Scheduler, you are accountable for working cross-functionally with our manufacturing, distribution, supply planning and customer service teams to coordinate the timely release of production schedules, each with their unique complexities and constraints, and to ensure our products are produced on time, every time.

Through a proactive and critical thinking mindset, the Production Scheduler is accountable for planning production with the production and maintenance teams to ensure orders are delivered in-full and on-time, working closely with other departments ensure production plans and fulfilling customer requirements. Also co-ordinating resources and liaising with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time, to our quality specifications and requirement is a requirement, in addition to planning and reviewing resin requirements and materials ordering and planning.

•  Conduct analysis to identify performance to target gaps, in collaboration with the Sales and Supply teams and identify solutions to mitigate risks.

About this opportunity

With a long history of delivering sustainable and innovative packaging solutions to some of the most well-known brands, the Pact Packaging closures and specialties division is looking for an energetic Account Manager. You will develop sales opportunities for packaging closures and specialties products through engagement of existing and new customers and manage customers at state and national level. Specifically you will:

• Ensure that our customers are supported actively and with ongoing relationships in mind
• Conduct regular review meetings
• Identify and deliver on new opportunities and product sales strategies for processed foods
• Prepare and present reporting and analysis on business activity, performance against targets and market industry opportunities
• Support preparation and submission of proposals that deliver a competitive and valuable service offering for customers and our business
• Represent the customers "voice" within the business and ensure their excellent experience throughout PACT
• Identify sales training needs and participate in sales training programs as required
• Liaise with Quality Assurance and production for the external issue of specifications for customer approval

 With experience in sales management and astute commercial acumen, you will also bring:
