This role play a critical role in supporting the growth strategy of Olam Agri. You will be responsible for the full deal lifecycle, from deal origination and analysis to execution and post-deal integration. This includes managing multiple transactions simultaneously, leading project teams with internal and external stakeholders, and driving each stage of a deal to successful completion.

Responsibilites:

1. M&A deal management:

• Project management: Manage various workstreams through the deal cycle:

o Structure the workflows in a deal cycle and prepare a project plan, track and review progress with stakeholders, drive to completion

o Support end to end deal execution, from origination till closing and integration stage

o Manage internal and external project teams, including business and functional teams (Legal, Finance, IT, HR, etc), and advisors

o Understand Due Diligence scoping, risks and mitigation. Analyse and provide pertinent feedback to duel diligence reports

• Stakeholder management:

2. Strategic Investments Review and Approval:

• Develop or review comprehensive organic investment proposals, prepare presentations and recommendations for approval, manage the internal approval process

• Execute short-term trading strategies across various rubber futures contracts, including SICOM, TOCOM, INE, and SHFE.

As the Bunker Trader for our global dry bulk fleet, you will function as an internal market maker for all bunker risk associated with our fleet and forward freight commitments. Role would include managing the exposure through the execution of physical and financial contracts, reconciling mark to market forward positions with Risk Control Team. The role is global and managing relationship with external stakeholder. Ideal candidate will have fueloil derivative experience, a technical understanding energy macroeconomic drivers and keen interest in the 24/7 aspect of international commodity and shipping markets.

Responsibilities:

Bunker Procurement:

· Manage and negotiate the procurement of bunkers, spot and term, dealing directly with selected panel of suppliers and traders.

· Intraday management of daily bunker exposure through derivative exaction, both OTC through brokers and on-screen transactions.

· Develop and maintain relationships with oil majors, traders, and derivative brokers.

· Evaluate future vessel itineraries and update internal stakeholders with regional fuel availability.

Risk Management:

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Independent execution of physical shipments including vessel monitoring, issuing letters of credit, vessel nomination, shipping advice, insurance declaration, discharge/load port agent appointment, load/discharge operations.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As part of the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team, you will play an improtant role in developing sustainability projects and investments to decarbonise agri-commodity supply chains and improve farmer livelihoods, while strengthening food and feed systems and ensuring business viability.

The responsibilities of the Sustainability Business Developer / Investment Analyst include:

1. (50%) Develop business models, financial projections and investment valuations to assist decision-making for sustainability investments, such as carbon project development.

Types of projects could include regenerative agriculture, reforestation, biochar, etc., which aim to reduce the carbon footprint of farming and supply chains, while providing co-benefits to agricultural yields, farmer livelihoods, and ecosystems.

1. (30%) Supporting the development of financial partnerships for the CR&S department and its programmes. This can include:
   • Writing budgets for grant proposals to development donors, development finance institutions, foundations, customers or other parties.
   • Analysing market potential for certified, low-carbon, or sustainable products; and voluntary carbon credit markets.
   • Identifying and acquiring financing partners and off-takers for certified, low-carbon products or carbon credits.
   • Supporting relationship with banks and investors, such as for sustainability-linked loans, or due diligence inquiries

3. (20%) Any other data analysis, reporting, survey design etc. as required (20%). For example,

· Develop metrics, methodologies and tools for measuring outputs and impacts, especially financial impacts to the company and to the target i.e. farmers and communities.

· Gather and analyze information related to farmers’ financial viability to support the development of livelihoods programmes.
