As the Operations Officer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day motor-vehicles in and out of our busy automotive workshop. Job description:

• In-charge for receiving and issuance of cars send in to workshop for service/ repair/ body work.
• Identify and keep track of cars from different entities.
• Monitor closely all repair progress & ensure quick turnaround time from in-house & third-party workshops.
• Conduct physical check to confirm cars are in good conditions prior to delivery date.
• Follow-up on pending / completed job details & update job status.

• Sourcing, evaluate, and procurement of parts.
• Responsible for the recipient, labelling and storage of parts in terms of quantity and allocation.
• Ensure quality of parts meets its standard and specification.
• Manage the ordering and issuance of parts to workshop or customer.
• Keep precise inventory, purchase, and issuance records to ensure data are up-to-date and accurate.
• Seek continuous improvement by regularly analyze and review Parts Department’s SOP to increase efficiency of workflow and overall productivity.
• Conduct regular audit to monitor stock movement and minimize obsolete or slow-moving stock.
• Implement various combination of parts grouping in accordance with vehicles' service requirements to allow for efficient retrieval and issuance of parts to service Mechanics
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Service Advisor, Mechanics, and Finance team to coordinate and close Job Cards.

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the same capacity
• Familiar with automotive spare-parts, car components and accessories.
• Strong leadership skills, including empowerment, coaching, organizing, and planning.
• Knowledge of automotive system, inventory system and parts pricing procedures.
• Proficient in computer software for inventory control, record keeping, parts information, etc.
• Familiar with online sourcing, buying and selling of parts.
• Candidates with warehousing and logistics background would be an advantage.
