Main Duties

Act as (when required) the Duty Senior Manager for the centre, taking full responsibility for centre operation & ensuring the centre is operated in accordance with the standard operating requirements. We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to manage a cleaning team, including recruitment, development of staff and maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

Weekend overtime available - Rota 1 in 8.

You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. Qualifications:

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated person who has a flexible approach to the role and works well as part of a team. Communicative English is essential, and you may be required to take an English language assessment. Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.

What are the minimum requirements? 

-You'll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN's (with dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics 

-Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience, 2 years post qualification experience, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service) as an Adult RN

-3 years UK residency  

-You'll need a current manual driving license with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals.

What does the role involve?

Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with exact assessments and assuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. Looking at Rota gaps and covering as needed. You will manage the HCPs ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately. Acting as management you will work as a part of an integrated team with the Clinical lead and Lead senior to ensure that the local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the Forces specific needs.

 

 

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Working Mobile Fabric Supervisors to join our growing engineering family, working in a challenging and diverse role where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide mobile delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

Reporting to the Fabric Programme Manager you will be responsible for scoping and pricing fabric repairs as part of a rolling programme across a large Retail portfolio. You will allocate work to you team, ensure that all materials and equipment have been assessed, ordered and delivery planned.

You will organise purchase orders, reconcile invoices and delivery dockets and you will undertake quality assurance checks of work completed by the Regional Fabric team, including snagging as required. You will be required to complete site by site reporting, completion evidence and seek customer feedback.

You should be capable of working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements, ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. 

You will be required respond to and resolve customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

You will have a full current driving licence and willing to travel, be IT literate (competent in the use of standard MS Office applications) have good customer service skills and be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description. 

You'll need to be highly self-motivated and solutions focussed with the ability to lead and develop your team.

Specialist Hygiene Operative

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

In your new role, you will carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including but not limited to washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.

We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are always maintained across all areas of the site. You will also need to liaise closely with Hygiene Team Leader, working with chemicals and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times. You will be required to operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation as well as working.
