What you will be doing

Consult with clients by telephone, on video call, via email and in person at our offices or travel industry events to identify their individual holiday requirements.
Create high-quality tailor-made itineraries for direct and trade clients based on their requirements.
Work to achieve individual and team sales targets; converting both tailor-made and small group tour enquiries to sale; maximizing value from each enquiry.
Co-ordinate all aspects of the client booking, including reservations, to ensure successful delivery of trip.
Conduct quality check of travel documents to ensure high quality, accurate information is received by our clients.
Take a proactive approach to learning and development to ensure your sales skills, customer service and product knowledge are always improving.
Undertake familiarisation visits and inspections in our destination countries where required, to boost your own knowledge and share insights gained with your peers and product team.

Creation and delivery of inspiring, high quality proposals and confirmation documents.

Conditions

This is an office-based role, and it is expected that most of your initial induction and onboarding will take place in the office.

Keep up to date with legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors, update documents required by Head quarter;
Recruitment, interview and select applicants to fulfil vacancies;
Develop, implement and maintain company policies and manual documents following Head quarter's policies and local regulations, and ensure that those are comprehensive and up-to-date;
Ensure decision-making processes are appropriate with company's objectives;
Coordinate and provide support to events such as internal audit;
To undertake other tasks as agreed with the GM

SKILLS | EXPERIENCE | KNOWLEDGE

Strong HR knowledge - ability to interpret Awards and understanding of current employment legislation.
An inclusive leadership style that creates an exceptional workplace culture.
A commitment to delivering results, solving complex problems, identifying process improvement.
Confidence to operate as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on a range of people issues during periods of transformation and change.
Be able to cover administrative/ practical/ operational tasks.
Japanese language is plus but not mandatory
A minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience.
Working experience in local subsidiary companies a plus.

Warehouse Operator (QLD)

Mon-Friday Full time Perm
Forklift license is mandatory

General duties including maintenance of warehouse. Assist the efficient operation of the branch by receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining communications with customers as required. This is daytime only Mon-Fri perm job. Main duties include:

General Duties including maintaining warehouse operations.
Receiving and dispatching stock by forklift, inventory control and other products and other relevant duties.
Maintaining safety and security of the building and contents, including locking of doors and fates as required and arming of alarm system.
Preparation of pricing/quotes and sundry stock items for current customers, as identified and delegated by the Central Areas Manager.
Cutting back and refurbishing rock drill bits to the company standards.
Compliance with safety standards set out by the company and in accordance with established Integrated Management System.
You will be trained in all aspects of the operation in line with the company policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

Current Australian Driving license and Forklift certificate
Some working experience
