They offer supply only of generation and energy solution packages along with complete turn-key (EPC) solutions and full aftermarket life of service and maintenance.
Reporting t o the Engineering Director, t he Principal Electrical Engineer will be an integral member of the engineering team for execution of Projects within the EPC business unit and will provide technical advice relating to matters of electrical design through to project completion.
Key elements of the role:
Technical Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of electrical engineers to execute projects within the EPC business unit.
Design Expertise: Provide technical advice and generate detailed output documents based on specifications, concepts, or on-site surveys.
Project Coordination: Coordinate estimates for tender preparation, represent Clarke Energy during tender negotiations, and ensure profitability.
Standardization: Formulate and enforce a consistent approach to electrical engineering design, emphasizing engineering solutions, quality, timeliness, and budget efficiency.
Support: Offer support for Clarke Energy's operating sites, especially in maintenance and special investigations.
Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate leadership and accountability for the Electrical team, driving ongoing enhancements in design management and engineering support.
What you will need to succeed:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Extensive experience within a broad range of electrical design and project engineering functions
Ideally full project lifecycle experience
LV to HV (primary and secondary) experience
Protection, earthing, lighting
Hazardous area competency
Power generation experience is desirable
Report writing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Initiative and problem solving ability
Drivers License (Essential)
Computer Literate, including the following: Microsoft Suite
