Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our client base, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of F&B supplies to our customers. If you are a dynamic professional with a strong background in business development and a passion for the F&B industry, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients in the minimart and wet market stall sectors to expand our customer base.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing excellent service.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with our logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of F&B supplies to clients, and address any supply chain issues as they arise.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prepare reports, and present findings to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of F&B supply chains and distribution is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid Class 3 driver's license.
- Job role requires candidate to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking customers.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Singapore as part of daily responsibilities.
- Adaptability and resilience to cope with challenges related to client visits and supply deliveries.
