- Define & implement process for updating services model with site survey drawing data and/or services found that differ from current information. Review existing process with Surveys CRE and as required update.
- Develop practical inspection pitting template compatible with Alliance processes, agree with Engineering Manager, add as template on ProjectWise and circulate for implementation.
- Agree a practical process for issue of inspection pitting data (e.g. central SharePoint site or email) and process and resources for adding this information to services model based on experience other similar projects.
- Establish services co-ordination issues forum. Agree method of feeding back and tracking services issue and forum for engagement with relevant parties. Agree format and frequency for briefing sessions on services co-ordination issue.
- Ensure effective process in place and briefed for site surveys data to be added to ProjectWise and then included in services model.
- Determine & agree costs for commercial implementation.
- Collating and filing all trial hole info and ensuring these are logged onto the CAT surveys portal tiles.
- Raising any findings different to what’s on current model to Systra GIS Model ensuring this gets updated in line with PAS128 guidelines.

Who we are looking for

- Experience in a similar role for a large scale construction project.
- Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification.
- All relevant Competency Assessment processes completed.
- CSCS Card and PTS
- Ideally have design construction and maintenance experience of railway and infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of design model software, MS Office products, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications.
- IOSH (preferred).

- Ensure a temporary works register is established and maintained Ensure that information relevant to the temporary works has been received from the client, ensure that a design brief is prepared with consultation within the project team and that it is both adequate and in accordance with the actual situation on site.
- Ensure that any other temporary works in the vicinity are referenced in the design brief.

- Proven knowledge of Network Rail and Highways England technical standards and approval processes highly advantageous.
- Depth of understanding of the construction environment for safe and buildable designs.

What you will be doing

- Research and write information for use in PQQs and ITTs, including case studies, CVs, and evidence to assist all responses
- Working with the bid writers and assist functions across the business, assist in the development and maintenance of a library of frequently used / boilerplate answers and materials for purposed bid.
- Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; editing, proofreading and printing all documentation prior to submission.
- Manage an online up-to-date library of all answers submitted in PQQ and ITT responses across the business, as well as managing a bi-annual audit on the content. The content must be precise, thorough, and compliant with any industry standards
- Work with the communications officer and marketing team in the production of case studies / project profiles for use within PQQs and ITTs where required
- Successfully work on multiple PQQs and ITTs simultaneously in a high-paced environment, often with a short turnaround time for submissions
- Under the guidance of the Bid Manager, produce responses for the non-technical sections of PQQs / ITTs, e.g. financial information, insurances, bidder information etc. (training and guidance will be provided).

- Provide coordination/integration management of supply chain and subcontractor design, i.e. fabricators, manufacturers, specialist trades, fitout contractors, mechanical and electrical plant and SISS.
- Provide construction management input to the Station building works, particularly advice regarding construction/ implementation/ sequence/ programme review meetings, and any other as advised.

The main purpose of this role is to support the People Function with the effective administration of all employee lifecycle administration requirements. Processing requests and answering queries in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain high levels of confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations at all times.

What you will be doing

- Act as a first point of contact for all employee’s, taking ownership of HR policy & process queries, referring to the Shared Service Centre Team Leader where more support is required
- Manage a volume of queries via the case management system through varying contact methods such as telephone, in person & email within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into HR systems (Success Factors) including; inputting new starter information, administering employee data and pay changes and maintaining leaver records to enable accurate record keeping and payroll processing
- Production of HR related communications such as employment contracts, references, probation & leavers letters
- Supporting the administration of our employee benefits, liaising with providers and key contacts to maintain accurate membership data
- Build and maintain cross functional working relationships with the wider People Team, including Recruitment, Reward, Learning & Development and HRBPS, to ensure relevant and effective support is provided
- Assist with collation of management reporting information and statistical information for reports as required.
- Support the continual improvement of people team processes and provide suggestions for process development and system enhancements to improve the customer experience
- Support the wider People Shared Service Team, when required, with general HR processes

Who we are looking for

- Proven track record of providing administrative support to a large, multi-site, multi-disciplined business
- Ideally experience within the construction/civil-engineering sector
- Experience of working in or with a HR or Shared Service environment or a desire for a career in a HR Shared Service environment
- Part qualified/or any relevant qualification required for the role
