We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Commerce Consulting to help lead our Commerce Consulting team. Job Summary:
Searching for a highly motivated individual to lead our Data Strategy team (reporting to the Chief Data & Technology Officer), within the Data & Technology team at Night Market, a Horizon Media company. Specifically, this role is supporting a SaaS product.
The role includes architecting and managing infrastructure that supports ingestion, transformation, and access to performance media and commerce data. You will also play a pivotal role in developing intellectual property intersecting media and commerce data sets inclusive of holistic understandings of audiences and their multichannel purchase journeys. This extends across things such as: eCommerce marketing measurement, effectiveness and actionable insights; shopper propensity; audiences and customer journey analytics; CRM, digital analytics (website, mobile, app and social media); forecasting, financial analysis, user-level analysis, marketplaces/eRetailers performance; eCommerce shopper experiences. Consequently, the role requires significant strategy chops as we build our SaaS platform with the opportunity to author patented capabilities.
On a day-to-day basis you will look at roadmap items and ensure the data is available to support those features, be prepared for database write functions from the front end, and that all data transformations and processing is done in a way that supports the scalability of our software.
In addition to data strategy aspects, this role will involve cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of parties, including the clients, internal NM stakeholders, 3rd-party vendors, and operational areas within the broader Horizon Media company. This is a high growth and visible role in a highly dynamic and fast-paced company. Requires ability to successfully complete JIRA ticket and sprint life cycles. Role requires ability to size, scope and provide time/effort estimations needed to complete JIRA tickets properly, while providing accurate and realistic timeline for future feature development.

Job Summary
The VP, Experience Analytics reports into the SVP, Commerce Experience, and will empower our clients to achieve their business objectives by analyzing data on their digital experiences – whether a website, app, or other commerce property.
As a strategic leader, you will be the vital link between their business goals and the analytics solutions required to drive customer insights, inform experience optimizations, and iterate on digital programs. You will guide a team in as well as contribute to the delivery of experience analytics work for our clients. Your expertise will extend to both Adobe and Google with a focus on web analytics products suite, but also knowledge of related analytics enablement and data engineering platforms such as SQL, tag management, and data visualization or BI solutions. Your contribution will be instrumental in shaping our capabilities and client delivery towards digital excellence and customer-centricity.
This role will also lead efforts to win business in the Experience Analytics space with a focus on website analytics, tag management, and related platforms implementation. New business support will include proposals for both existing and new clients, contributing to thought leadership, and participating in client meetings or pitch presentation.
