As a Solution Architect, you apply deep experience and technical know-how in the Solution Architecture domain to deliver the following responsibilities:

• Leverage a strong understanding of business (internal, external or regulatory) requirements (functional and non-functional) to design complex cloud-based architectural solutions that are fit-for purpose, re-usable, scalable, reliable and manageable, align to our enterprise roadmap, comply with Telstra’s security standards and can be delivered in line with time/budget requirements and Telstra’s architectural standards
• Leverage strong communication skills to document solution designs (e.g. Solution Impact Description (SID) and/or Solution Architecture Definition (SAD) documents) and associated impacts across the various components of the Enterprise stack, with inputs from key business and project stakeholders in a manner that is timely and of a high quality
• Engage with Security Architects and provide clarity on all security aspects of the chosen Solution and revise according to Security Standards where necessary
• Authentically engage and collaborate with key technology partners and/or business stakeholders to support initiatives that explore, test, and implement new and emerging technologies to digitise our processes, systems and customer experience
• Lean / agile ways of working and practices to improve the quality and speed at which solutions are delivered (including defining a compelling vision with key product/project stakeholders, rapidly developing high quality concepts and iterating over time, and contributing to cross-functional, self-organising teams)

Requirement:

• 6+years IT Architecture Background & 10+ years in IT
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of end-to-end B2B Telecom Business across various domains like IP, Voice, Data Center, Cloud, Security in Enterprise and Wholesale markets
• Experience in current and modern Integration technology
• Experience in API, Microservices and Service Based Architecture (SBA) ecosystems
• Strong Communication and Articulation skills
• Experience in presenting to Technical and Business Stakeholders
• Strong experience and working knowledge on the following technologies:

1. Hybrid cloud technologies and ecosystem
2. Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure)
