Job Role
You will pro-actively oversee and manage the delivery of services to prescribed SLAs via monitoring and maintaining effective
relationships with Centre Management, suppliers, and colleagues; ensuring co-ordinate delivery with other services across the
support infrastructure; within Cleaning, Security, Car Parks, Customer Services and Administration. You will be working to agreed
budget parameters and within the strategy and standards set by the contract documentation.
Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a security guard. You will be responsible for providing safety to the public
with Patrols, creating access passes and using your experience of who can gain access. Your flexibility and experience will create
a rapport with our high end clients to deliver excellence.
The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork. A typical day for someone who
is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book. You
will then finish every shift with a good thorough handover.
You are an individual who communicates well, have a strong sense for reliability and understand the importance of being smartly
presented in uniform at all times. Also you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.
You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the
continued success of GUK.
Key Functions:
To provide overall Site Services Management support and expertise to all GUK and PSS staff based in the shopping Centre.
• Cleaning Maintenance – To support cleaning within the centre to Mall Areas, Car Park, Toilets, Office and
Conference, circulation and corridors including loading bays and external areas.
• Waste Management – To maximise the way in which waste is dealt with in line with client’s corporate social
responsibility package whilst minimising costs and maximising profitability.
• Security Management – To support the Security Department within the Centre. To oversee shift rota, wage budget,
user interface, fire and evacuation planning, co-ordination, and implementation.
• Customer Services Management– To Support all staff and to work alongside the clients Management team and act as a
tenant liaison in regard to security issues of the tenants.
• Car Park Management – Clean, safe, and secure.
• Administration – To oversee the day-to-day administration duties
• Duty Management – To comply with Duty Management schedule and instruction on duty procedures, protecting the
interests of GUK, PSS and clients.
• Housekeeping – management of tidy workplace policy.
• Health and Safety – Be responsible for H&S regarding on site staff and teams. This will require ongoing monitoring
of contractors to ensure that, in all respects they conform to H&S legislation and best practice.
Ideal Experience:
* Proof of right to work
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor license
* 5 Year employment history
* Experience of composing emails and preparing incident reports
* Proactively uses initiative to recognize priorities within own workload
* Problem solving
