Responsibilities

1. Treasury Operation

• Perform daily bank reconciliation of clearing house collateral accounts and recording of collaterals in the finance system,
• Generate daily collateral positions report for management and risk management,

3. Finance Operation

• Support invoicing and collection operations,
• Work with commercial and operations to monitor and generate non-routine invoices such as fee for odd lots, rebates, etc.
• Prepare revenue and update forecast
• Perform AP and payment function as and when necessary

4. Reporting and Audits

• Support all aspects of MAS reporting covering daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial submission to MAS,

• Participate in annual internal and external audits and other audit as and when required

5. Internal Controls and Digitalisation

• Support the enterprise's effort in digitalisation with focus on optimizing internal control and manual intervention between systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder in related field, major in Commerce, Accounting, Finance is required.
• A post graduate study in related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in MNCs, finance industry or international accounting firms is required.
• 1 to 2 years of experienced with treasury/cash management, FX execution will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of derivatives, investment products will be a plus.
• Familiar with financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, SFRS), Securities and Futures Act, regulatory reporting will be an advantage.

DevOps Engineer

The Legal Counsel will act as in-house legal counsel to Abaxx Exchange and Clearing House (“Abaxx Exchange”), reporting directly to the General Counsel of Abaxx Exchange. He/she will be expected to provide a full spectrum of legal advice and support to the other business units within the organization, including operations, market regulatory, risk, commercial, products, technology and finance. Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, accounting degree, accounting diploma
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Finance operation. Experienced in an exchange, commodity house or financial institution will be an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal control
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Meticulous, conscientious, hands-on
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Oracle NetSuite system experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office especially Microsoft Excel. Additional proficiency in Microsoft Words, PowerPoint, flow-charting, work-flow documentation will be an advantage

As a Medium-Level Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the development and operation of mission-critical systems that underpin our financial exchange platform. You will work closely with a highly skilled and collaborative team to build and maintain systems that ensure the smooth operation of our exchange. The ideal candidate is a hardworking team player with an engineering degree and a deep understanding of our tech stack. Experience with AWS is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical systems in a financial exchange environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Scala, Next.js, React, Python, shell scripting, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and performance of systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security standards.

• Perform data extraction and maintain risk data to support analytics and new product launch.
• Create and maintain risk methodology and technical documentation.
• Assist in supporting ongoing risk infrastructure in cloud (AWS) to facilitate the development of near real-time visualization tools.
• Maintain code repository (in Git) and databases.
• Work closely with Technology team to deploy financial models and risk reporting tools in the cloud
• Support Risk Control process as and when needed and assist in performing UAT for the vendor provided solution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in quantitative subjects (finance, mathematics, computer science, data analytics) with strong analytical and research skills.
• Relevant experience in quantitative software development preferred.
• Hands-on experience of development using Python and SQL.
• Working knowledge of cloud is preferred.
