The opportunity:
We are currently sourcing a Senior Manager, General Advice Delivery to join our Financial Wellbeing team at AIA in Melbourne. AIAFW has a focus on accelerating growth through the middle market and within this role you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience through our ‘General Advice’ delivery channel. You will have the opportunity to join us on our journey to significantly improve the customer experience of our current General Advice offering and play a major part in shaping this for AIA.
To be successful you will:
Shape and build the general advice division to ensure AIA Financial Services clients receive affordable and reliable Life and health insurance solutions (via a digitally led multichannel approach)
Ensure the consistency of ‘General Advice’ delivery regardless of lead origination, touchpoint or consultant, enabling a seamless experience for customers wanting to purchase insurance protection
Supporting the definition and design of the end-to-end strategic customer journey & pathways, optimising business function and process through operational and technology enablers, (whilst factoring in regulatory considerations).
Manage the operations of the Direct Life Insurance and General Advice teams including design of the strategic acquisition and conversion model, leading the people and overall performance.
Lead the development of the strategy and the delivery of the technology enablers to support the general advice digital and tech strategy, CX & UX and realise our digitally led multi-channel approach
To be successful you will:
Have demonstrated experience developing and working in a similar Direct Life or General advice team
RG146 qualified
Strong Retail insurance and Underwriting competence would be advantageous
Exceptional customer engagement skills and the ability to implement change
Solid understanding of industry, regulatory and competitor issues as relevant to interests and outcomes for customers within Financial Services or Insurance
Proven experience in customer advocacy and comparable client focused or advisory role
