Primary coverage for the BXCI credit trading desk. Will sit on credit trading desk and provide advice to traders and business management as well as Legal & Compliance, IT, and Operations.
Manage all aspects of trade restrictions including analyzing potential MNPI, clearing trades, and maintaining the restricted list on an ongoing basis.
Facilitate internal wall crosses among Blackstone’s business units. Work with Legal & Compliance colleagues across other Blackstone business units to promote consistency.
Devise, initiate, maintain, and revise compliance and regulatory policies, procedures, controls, and training based on the specific needs of the business and current regulatory requirements particularly ones related to confidential and MNPI.
Manage Expert Network policies and procedures; provide oversight of calls.
Review allocations of investments.
Coordinate with other Compliance team members on compliance and regulatory matters: SEC and CFTC registrations, ERISA, and federal, state and international securities laws (including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933 and the Exchange Act of 1934)
Work with team in responding to requests from regulators, preparing for regulatory examinations, and conducting mock examinations in conjunction with external consultants and counsel.
Qualifications:
An attorney with 4+ years of experience in a law firm, regulator, and/or as a compliance professional (preferably at an asset manager). Experience in a control room or sitting on a trading desk is strongly preferred.
Must evidence a solid understanding of insider trading law, possess ability to independently perform analysis of information to determine whether it potentially constitutes MNPI, and document analysis in a clear and organized manner.
Ability to be proactive in novel situations and to independently manage projects to conclusion.
Must be a strong and independent thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience liaising between business team members and legal and compliance colleagues.
Must have a tolerance for ambiguity, confidence and a pragmatic, conscientious work ethic.
Knowledge of and ability to communicate risks, best practices and regulatory requirements (U.S. and international).

The Compliance Manager will work on a variety of compliance matters pertaining to Blackstone’s Private Equity funds. Primary job responsibilities will include:

Job Description:
The key focus for a Sourcing Associate is to execute sourcing strategies and plans with a focus on passive candidates, with the aim of achieving high quality, cost effective and timely filling of roles. Qualifications:

Responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of compliance training to investment and support teams on key regulatory topics for new and existing employees; maintain training records; and ensure consistency with other Blackstone businesses
Review, prepare and oversee adherence to third-party advisor / consultant agreements and engagement letters (including for Blackstone Executive, Senior and Operating Advisors)
Work with investment and asset management teams, senior leadership, and legal and compliance colleagues throughout the transaction lifecycle (including pre-acquisition diligence, preparation for committee reviews, regulatory filings, and post-acquisition obligations)
Ensure compliance with investor side letter obligations

Assist with new product development (including retail- and institutional-focused vehicles) in both U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions

Qualifications:
An attorney with 6+ years of experience at a law firm and/or as a compliance professional (preferably at an asset manager or at a regulatory consulting firm)
Familiarity with SEC, CFTC, and European private placement registration processes; and federal, state and international securities law and regulation (including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (and updates to the Marketing Rule), ERISA, the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, and the EU Market Abuse Regulation (and similar anti-insider trading regimes))
Strong preference for experience as a funds or regulatory attorney working with (a) private fund operating documents including (LPAs, PPMs, and subscription agreements); (b) private fund service provider agreements; and (c) investor eligibility requirements; experience with both private equity and hedge fund structures is a plus
Capacity to understand difficult and complex compliance, legal and business problems and address with commercially actionable work plans
Demonstrated experience liaising between business team members (e.g., investment, asset management, marketing) and firm-wide corporate groups (e.g., accounting, finance, operations, tax)
Superb organizational skills; demonstrated strong writing ability; and strong interpersonal communications skills
Ability to manage projects independently to conclusion from conception to execution, including coordination and oversight of external consultants and counsel
Compliance experience with registered funds, board roles, and service providers is a plus

Job Description:
The Human Resources Analyst will join a nimble team of HR Business Partners covering the Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) platform to enhance operations and effectiveness across a broad variety of HR initiatives and processes. This role will help drive strategic business and talent objectives forward by preparing, analyzing, and advancing work across the HR life cycle. The HR Business Partners operate in close partnership with the business to drive forward the talent agenda, which will afford the Analyst with ample visibility and learning opportunities. Additionally, the team works in seamless collaboration with the HR specialist functions, Centers of Excellence, to build out differentiated global solutions to advance our talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention efforts and track our success.
This role will provide an excellent opportunity for broad-based experience with best-in-class approaches to engaging, managing, and developing our human capital. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Preparing materials and source data to enable Talent Assessment, Development, Performance, and Promotion processes
Shaping, monitoring, and tracking ongoing talent development initiatives
Analyzing and digesting data, including but not limited to, diversity & inclusion, organizational development, and performance management, to promote data-driven decision making that will help the team establish new initiatives
Partner with the HR Business Partners and Recruitment team to facilitate a streamlined recruitment process and candidate experience by reviewing job descriptions and interview slates, managing feedback trackers, and more
Work in partnership with onboarding leads to manage the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration
Prepare documentation to track personnel changes, including relocation, transfer, on- and offboarding, work authorization, etc.
Actively participate in the employee performance management process by guiding managers and compiling detailed feedback
Collaborate with the business to deliver engagement initiatives including social and community impact events, mentorship programs, and training programs
Partner with Business Partners on many more exciting ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
1+ years of relevant HR experience; financial industry is a plus
