The Partner Sales Manager (PSM) is responsible for driving the strategic development of our sales engagement with Partners within industries/territories.
The Role
The PSM will be responsible for developing and managing our end-to-end partner strategy for the Enterprise and Commercial Business segment. This includes developing the Alliances Strategy and Go-To-Market plan, sales team alignment, supporting channel organisations (such as partner marketing and partner enablement), and other key stakeholders.
The PSM’s responsibility will be to be an advisor to our sales teams on existing partner industry and capability and future needs. They will drive the execution of revenue-generating programs and initiatives with partners for the territory. The PSM will be responsible for evangelising Salesforce’s value proposition to partners and facilitating the partner ecosystems’ value proposition within Salesforce and affiliated companies. Key to the position is developing a deep understanding of our ecosystem for effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with market sales leaders to develop a strategy and plan to deliver ongoing customer success with our partner ecosystem
Take partner sales plays, offerings and industry assets/solutions and align with our Salesforce teams (Partner Account Managers, Sales, Account Executives, Industry Teams, Mulesoft, Tableau, etc.)
Drive a partner marketing plan aligned with the needs of the business and ecosystem objectives
Manage and deliver Sourced pipeline and build a plan for ACV growth tied to the territory’s strategies and initiatives in close alignment with internal stakeholders and partners
Identify target accounts and white space plans with sales and partner leadership to drive execution and governance
Conduct regular cadence between the Partner & Salesforce stakeholders and adjust strategies

Understand the breadth and depth of the partner ecosystem and develop a plan to recruit partners

Qualifications/Experience:
Mid-level direct sales or partner management experience across a variety of industries, with experience in Cloud SaaS based solutions
Strong executive selling and business development skills; proven ability to understand different partner GTM models.
Demonstrated sales acumen with a strong challenger mindset & get it done approach
A proven track record in CXO engagement and interaction
Proven ability to build, lead and execute strategy in a cross-functional environment.

The ideal Senior Technical Consultant demonstrates thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of enterprise desktop, cloud, and/or mobile solutions, including enterprise integrations leveraging middleware tools and platforms. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM, ERP), filling positions of increasing responsibility and management of more junior technical resources.
Experience as an Architect or Senior Developer in a mid to large-sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrixed organization.
Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign-on, and master data management.
Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile implementation methodologies.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Proven results leading and overseeing customer and/or partner success stories in the following domains: front- and back-end solution architecture, development and release management strategies, change management, and direct leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
Guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value.
Polished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization.

Your Responsibilities: a bit about you
A Solutions Engineer at Salesforce plays a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex technical and digital marketing requirements. This Business Unit sells the entire Salesforce platform into a small set of named accounts. Think of yourself as the "General Manager" in this role - mapping account strategies, aligning resources and acting as the extension of your customer. You will work closely with other product specialists known as co-primes to help map out the best strategy for your customer. You will have technical support from solutions architects and sales engineers.
This role will be responsible for the Singapore territory.

Build customer trust through managing and hosting in-person customer/prospect security meetings
Be the Salesforce field expert for the Salesforce trust story covering security, architecture, reliability, performance, privacy and compliance.
Interface with Product Management and Security teams to ensure all the latest security features and capabilities are accurately represented in customer responses
Collaborate with the Salesforce Legal, Privacy and other teams on customer-specific contract requirements
Interface to Salesforce security engineering and product management teams
Ensure teams are aware of gaps in our security/compliance capabilities that are impacting customers and prospects.
Ensure field sales, services and partner teams are consistently enabled with the latest and best positioning around Salesforce security and compliance
Gather customer security/compliance requests, and liaison with Salesforce product managers to maintain a security product roadmap
Provide input and assist in developing compliance-related documentation: white papers, standard questionnaires, security best practices, etc.
Develop SME capabilities for selected Salesforce Services and work with the product teams and global SMEs within the team to stay updated on the latest developments.
Desired Qualifications
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
12+ years of experience in information security, governance, and compliance.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure.
Understanding the architectural and security nuances.
Excellent cross-functional teamwork and interpersonal skills across product, security, Marketing, Field Sales, and more.
Familiarity with one or more security and regulatory frameworks: NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, CSA, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Outsourcing Guidelines and TRM, Personal Data Protection laws in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc, BNM Outsourcing guidelines and Risk Management in IT (RMiT) etc.
Managed one or more compliance certifications/audits, either as an auditor or responder (FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC-1/2, IRAP/ISMS, MTCS, etc.)
Experience with completing customer security/compliance questionnaires
Experience interpreting the intent of specific customer questions, and mapping them to industry standard controls
Familiarity with public cloud architectures, security practices and compliance documentation
Experience working in the Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, Superannuation, Telecommunication services industry
