We partner with marketing and brand colleagues to create compelling investment and product marketing content for advisors, investors, and institutions in North America focused around Alternatives and Private Markets.
Your Role
The purpose of the Investment Marketer, Private Markets is to deliver content that engages our clients in our investment capabilities.
Our challenge for the Investment Content Marketer is to create compelling investment and product marketing content focused around Alternatives and Private Markets that puts marketing at the center of Invesco's commercial success.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Deliver the content that proposes solutions to pressing investment questions; link those solutions across the breadth of our relevant capabilities; then ensure clients can access insightful views into those capabilities.
Work with internal and external partners to create, curate or commission the investment content that sits at the heart of our campaigns and other marketing activities. This content can take several forms – written, audio, video or graphic.
Operate within a highly dynamic and collaborative environment, enabling fast and flexible decisions on our content agenda. Pitch ideas as a group, take on assignments, deliver against deadline.
Partner with investment and product teams to maintain foundational and evergreen content that is fit for purpose across multiple campaigns and always-on activity.
Build positive relationships with those same teams so that they’re ready when we need them to give us the two-minute update or 3,000-word view. Likewise, build an understanding of when their story is not right for the moment.
Develop a deep asset class understanding to improve content output.
Engage with digital, segment and country teams and PR to ensure your content reaches our target audience, encouraging the next step in the onward client journey
The Experience You Bring:
Minimum 1-3 years marketing experience working within asset management or financial services experience required.
Foundational knowledge of private markets and alternative asset classes and how to deliver these solutions in compelling ways to institutions, intermediaries and financial professionals.
Particular experience marketing Alternatives and/or Private Markets is an asset
Demonstrated experience crafting original content for activation across digital and traditional media. Demonstrated experience sourcing and procuring content across multiple contributors and SMEs.
Demonstrated experience or knowledge of creating best practice content across multiple formats including written, video, audio, infographic, dynamic and interactive content, which is distributed in a variety of mediums.
Experience producing financial services content preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with all content formats from long-form editorial and thought leadership through to short-form video and infographics.
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $80,000-$90,000 annually.

The Department
The SMA Client Service team is part of a boutique Invesco office located in downtown Seattle. The SMA Client Service team partners with the portfolio management team, operations, trading and distribution to provide a best-in-class service experience for all of our clients. We are looking for our next Client Service Manager to support our growing business. Successful candidates will have experience working in a collaborative work environment for a financial services/RIA/Broker Dealer firm and have a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
You will be responsible for:
Nurture and maintain client relationships/primary point of contact for SMA accounts
Work with client types including direct/retail investors, broker dealer platforms, institutions and advisors
Lead client communication via team email to provide white-glove service for all channels
Answer portfolio and strategy related questions
Review/respond on reconciliation items (delinked accounts, negative cash accounts, new accounts)
Contact custodians for service-related matters and custodian paperwork generation
Run client information in CRM (Salesforce)
Assist in project execution for team initiatives
Ability to work across multiple partners and departments to ensure a seamless client experience
Maintain a client centric approach while balancing multiple internal and external request
The experience you bring:
5+ years of directly applicable experience, with experience at a financial services/RIA/Broker Dealer firm
Series 65 required within 90 days of start
Understand separately managed account structure
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent communication and teamwork both internally and externally
Organized and detail oriented
The salary range for this position in Washington is $90,000 to $120,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
