Contributor 2 (Manufacturing Material handler)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. (Other duties may be assigned).
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials.
Ability to work independently as required.
May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work. Uses hand/or electric pallet jacks.
May keep workstations and production lines fully stocked.
May be responsible for moving product pallets to maintain and segregate inventories.
May train and implement functions in SAP.
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
Qualifications
Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
Ability to safely operate all required equipment
MRP (SAP) computer systems is desired.
Must be able to pay continuous attention to detail within the operations.

High school diploma/ GED or at least 3 months of experience on similar job

General Summary
RM Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing value to customer. This is accomplished by planning and administering dock/kitting assignments. Responsible for overseeing the efficient and organized management of raw materials within the warehouse. This role involves supervising a team, coordinating inventory activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing processes to meet production demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations
1. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and productive working environment. Develop and implement Kitting work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operation. Review warehouse operations to ensure the warehouse is neat, secure, and well organized; and that damage to the product, equipment, and the facility is prevented and/or reported. Ensure that all safety procedures are followed. Assist in conducting physical inventories. Work directly with the supervisor to ensure that daily operations are being carried out properly and that resources are allocated properly.
2. Reporting/Measurements
Ensure all warehouse activity records are prepared in a timely manner and efficiently maintained. Review operating goals and standards daily to monitor achievement.
Quality
3. Responsible for making recommendations to the management regarding continuous improvement of department work processes and operating procedures. Participate in High Performance Work Teams. Implement measures to prevent damage, spoilage, or contamination of raw materials. Participate in the Lean program.
4. Process Optimization
Process Optimization: Find opportunities to improve warehouse processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency. Implement standard methodologies and meet requirements and reduce lead time.
5. Inventory Management
The Lead must assist Inventory Control to ensure accurate inventory. Must maintain and update inventory records, perform all daily activities vital to maintain effective inventory management procedures. Communicate any inventory discrepancies that cannot be resolved to Inventory Control for further investigation.
6. Safety/Sanitation/Housekeeping
Lean manufacturing processes including 5S must be followed at all times. Keep warehouse and work area clean, neat and orderly. Recognize our customer and BD’s commitment to pride and Quality. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment. All injuries and accidents must be reported immediately to a supervisor or manager.
7. Cross Training
Become knowledgeable with responsibilities of the other positions as advised by management. Assist as required. Act as backup at times of absence or vacation.
Miscellaneous / Other:
Facilitate effective communication within the warehouse team and cross-functional departments. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to meet supply chain demands.
Education/ and or Experience:
High School diploma/ GED or at least 2 years warehouse experience
Forklift experience (required)
SAP Knowledge
Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in a raw material setting. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Essential Functions
As a Warehouse Associate with a focus on consolidating and put-away, your primary responsibilities involve receiving incoming goods, inspecting shipments, and accurately placing items in designated storage locations within the warehouse. You'll use equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and organize inventory. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure proper recording of stock levels, and you may be responsible for updating inventory management systems. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and collaborating with team members for efficient warehouse operations are key aspects of the role. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items are often required.

In this position the Essential Functions:
Responsible for completing required documentation (such as batch records, returns, etc.).
Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
Operate equipment in accordance to applicable manufacturing instructions/ operating procedures including machine set-ups and parameter documentation.
Follow GMP’s and standard operating procedures.
Follow process and utility flow diagrams.
Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
Perform area safety inspections to identify safety hazards and report findings in accordance with company protocols.
Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
Participate in internal audits and support additional team activities as requested.
Participate on site investigative teams and where applicable, NCR, s and behavioral safety assessments. Correct and/or mitigate findings from assessments.
Available for overtime as needed
Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matters such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), maintaining proper housekeeping at all times, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, ISO, and OSHA. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.
Follow all applicable aspects of the site Environmental Management System as it pertains to normal job duties.
Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industry that complies with GMP is highly preferred.
Able to read, write, fluently English preferred.
Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack is preferred.
Basic Computer Skills preferred
PC navigation such as the ability to enter data into programs/software applications as instructed and use software applications for mail, word processing, spreadsheets and other job specific needs preferred.

Essential Functions
As a Warehouse Associate with a focus on consolidating and put-away, your primary responsibilities involve receiving incoming goods, inspecting shipments, and accurately placing items in designated storage locations within the warehouse. You'll use equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and organize inventory. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure proper recording of stock levels, and you may be responsible for updating inventory management systems. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and collaborating with team members for efficient warehouse operations are key aspects of the role. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items are often required.
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials.
Ability to work independently as required. May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
May prepare goods for final shipment (domestic and international).
Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer).
Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution function.
May be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories.
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
Compare physical inventory with inventory records to ensure the numbers match
Qualifications
Sit down and stand-up Forklift experience required
Operator license preferred
Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills preferred
Ability to safely operate all required equipment preferred
Must be able to pay continuous attention to detail within the operations.
High school diploma / GED required
