About the Department

The Senior Commercial Manager role is part of the Commercial Affairs & Strategy (CAS) Team, based in our BASEA (Business Area South-East Asia) unit in Singapore. The CAS Team is an ambitious, creative, and inclusive team that supports the needs of our diverse markets in driving commercial success, business transformation, and future growth for better patient health. CAS functional responsibilities include commercial/marketing, market access and public affairs, customer engagement, commercial excellence, and sustainability. The Position

In this role, you will be accountable for building diabetes market understanding and generating insights for strategic and tactical decision-making across our diabetes portfolio, with a focus on the GLP1 receptor agonists. You will form strong partnerships with the different affiliate teams to ensure their commercial success, supporting business transformation efforts and ensuring commercial excellence and strategic focus.

Specific duties include, but not limited to:

• Identify opportunities for growth and executing them at the affiliate level with a portfolio mindset.

• Support local brand planning and tactical execution, including building a strong insight base to improve data-driven decision making.

• Support potential pre-launch and launch activities, maximizing commercial success by being an expert in Diabetes, acting as a key partner in the development of launch plans, and working closely with affiliates, the Business Area office, and Asia Pacific (APAC) to define strategic focus.

• Drive superior customer engagement and experience, developing content that aligns with our strategy and is valued and impactful for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients, in both digital and traditional channels.

• Align opportunities, challenges, and priorities of affiliates with global marketing, Internal Operations (IO), and APAC, while working closely with various stakeholders in affiliates, APAC region, IO, and Headquarters (HQ). And manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), agencies, events, and management consulting companies in the execution and management of marketing projects.

Qualifications

· A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Science, or Business Management-related discipline. A master's qualification is preferred.

· At least 8 years of overall professional experience, including 3-5 years of experience in brand management within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, consumer health, or life science industries – combination of such is a plus. The ideal candidate will also hold pharmaceutical sales experience.

· Outstanding interpersonal and project management skills with a proven track record in managing external and internal stakeholders.

· Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively across a diverse audience.

· Willingness to travel within the BASEA region.

About the Department

The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) department successfully established an effective, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure, running on both AWS and Azure in a global setup. The department has 15 highly skilled Cloud Advisors, Senior Software Engineers, and Automation Professionals. The current agile teams are global and consist of team members from the USA, Denmark, and India. All teams work closely with numerous business stakeholders and colleagues in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT). The team is engaged, ambitious, and supportive of each other and consist of diverse people with team culture where a humoristic mindset is valued.

This role will report to People Leader of Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure – Cross EMEA currently based in Denmark.

The position

The new APAC Cloud Product team will be covering both Cloud enablement in China and APAC region. The team will be in charge of providing cloud advisory and be hands-on involved in relevant PoC cloud projects across APAC region. Also, in charge of developing and operating the China Landing zones for Azure and AWS including Account/subscription vending, Security and compliance Guardrails, Identity and Access management, Integration to Global Landing zones and connectivity to on-prem systems, operations of the platforms, and Vendor Relationship Management with AWS/MS China. The main objective is to provide our lines of business with a secure and responsive platform for them to build on amazing solutions.

This position will be one out of six Product Owners within Cloud Infrastructure area and will collaborate closely with colleagues from Global Information Security and Compliance to continually improve the security posture and qualification of all Azure and AWS workloads. In the agile setting, you will also collaborate with the Area Responsible VP, the Product Manager for Cloud, The People Leaders, and other Product Owners in Cloud Infrastructure and across DD&IT. You will lead and establish a team of talented individuals based in Singapore and China and will require some business travel. Additionally, you are expected to stay ahead on industry trends and assess new products, services, and technologies, as well as evaluate the feasibility of concepts and services from the global platform teams.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Prioritizing product deliverables in alignment with the Global Cloud Product Manager and the cloud product area working out of Denmark.
• Driving the dialogue with key stakeholders in the APAC region to understand new needs and requirements, as well as inspiring the business to utilize the cloud products and services.
• Help accelerate the cloud transformation in APAC region which encompasses the full value chain from research and development to manufacturing and commercial areas.
• Guide cloud solutions for regulated environments, deliver new solutions in Novo Nordisk's Asia-Pacific region, and collaborate globally to drive innovation.
• Solving ad-hoc technical challenges together with end-users and assigned teams throughout the organization.
• Communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders in a comprehensible manner, sometimes to a technical audience and other times to a business audience.
• Prioritizing development needs and ensuring progress with Cloud Engineers in China. Following up on changes and advising on systems that are run in China.

Qualifications

• Must have an IT-related education at BSc level or higher, and/or several years of relevant professional experience within IT development or architecture.
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud and/or AWS Cloud in a large, global organization or maybe as a consultant.
• Experience as Product Owner is preferred.
• Experience from regulated industries including pharmaceutical area operating in the APAC region and experience with China’s data protection laws and regulations are considered a distinct plus.
• Highly motivated individual by challenging assignments, can absorb new knowledge quickly, and always open for developing new competencies. Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

The Position

This role will be in charge of building capable, clear and confident frontline teams across affiliates, locally and regionally who support our customers across the different brands within Novo Nordisk Business Area Southeast Asia (BASEA). Major responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Develop and implement commercial solutions and projects to address key commercial capability gaps with the ambition to develop frontline organization of the future.
• Contribute as an expert for commercial capability building and contribute to the development of the commercial training strategies and tactics for BASEA.
• Collaborate across functions and support change management process for BASEA.
• Establish BASEA capability lead network to periodically review performance as a group, discuss business challenges, share better practices, and implement actions to improve commercial capability building, commercial execution and business performance.

Qualifications

The Position

This temporary 12-month position is based in Singapore. It is anchored in the Business Area South-East Asia (BASEA) and reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Affairs & Strategy.

The incumbent must be a professional with brand management experience, ideally Insulin, with strong commercial / strategic insights / analytics skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to developing the strategic direction for the Insulin portfolio and devices in the Business Affiliate (BA) and ensuring alignment with RO APAC and act as the anchor point between the BA affiliates and the RO APAC
• Work closely with GLP1 Diabetes BA lead to ensure coherent diabetes portfolio vision and approach
• Developing and supporting affiliates for building the BA strategies and tactics in alignment with the regional business priorities
• Identifying the mid to long term business opportunities at a functional and cross-functional level and securing sales growth by driving key processes, projects, and tasks across the business area
• Contributing to the key business processes; budget planning, resources optimization and insulin portfolio optimization
• Co/Driving initiatives around commercial, marketing, MCE, market access, CE, skills, and capacity building to accelerate market share expansion, as well as volume growth (subject to supply)
• Guiding and supporting the BA management in strategic negotiations with healthcare authorities relating to market access and formulation and implementation of ambitious medium and long-term strategies for the development of Novo Nordisk business
• Following up and tracking with BASEA affiliates on business performance and updates and related issues management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to secure launch readiness for new launches

The Position

Your primary responsibility is to link the people agenda with the business ambition and strategy and collaborate closely with our senior leadership team in the Business Area as well as in our affiliates. You need to understand the business and align our P&O strategies with the organization's objectives. This position will report to the Corporate Vice President (CVP), BASEA. You will have 4 direct reports and P&O Directors in each affiliate as dotted line reports.

You will act as a change agent, driving, communicating, and initiating the relevant changes needed to move the business forward. You will handle a high level of complex projects and business, which requires an ability to focus on business ethics and compliance.

• Align, develop, and execute P&O strategies to support our business goals and address the unique challenges of the BASEA and partner closely with senior leaders to provide guidance on organizational design, performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee development, retention, and overall engagement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement with a strong focus on Novo Nordisk Way as well as the front line. Oversee the implementation of P&O policies and programs, ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations by ensuring strong collaboration with the relevant Legal & Compliance stakeholders across the region.
• Collaborate with regional P&O teams to standardize practices, share best practices, and facilitate knowledge exchange across locations with a specific focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB).
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Business Area and P&O team, fostering their growth and development.
• Act as a trusted advisor within the P&O space to the Corporate Vice President of BASEA and challenge the status quo in a constructive and respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Ideally, 15+ years of relevant human resources work experience (e.g., at least 8 years as HR Business Partner, Talent Development, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Employee Relations) and preferably bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Communications, Organizational Behavior or Human Resources.
• More than 3-4 years of proven track record within P&O leadership roles, ideally with an understanding of working in Southeast Asia with experiences in a melting pot of cultures. Proficiency in English is required and cultural understanding and/or experience is considered an advantage.
• Candidates from Global pharma MNCs with matrix organization structures are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of labour laws/HR regulations in multiple countries in Asia would be an added advantage.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective P&O strategies and initiatives. Strong leadership skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and also to manage and develop high performing teams.
