The Audit Director is a senior level management position responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Citi’s Internal Audit (IA) function. The overall objective of the Audit Director is to direct audit activities that support a subset of a product line, function, or legal entity at the global or regional level, in accordance with IA standards, Citi policies, and local regulations.

This Audit Director role sits within the IA Banking and Client team, primarily focusing on audit assurance activities relating to corporate and investment banking, client coverage, research and marketing. This individual is expected to work in close collaboration with all IA teams to ensure adequate, timely and seamless audit coverage.  

Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of auditors to provide timely and complete assurance over banking and client-related activities, and supporting other assurance work as needed.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in a related role.
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
• Advanced level experience in a related role with extensive experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for executing concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.

The ICM Hedge Fund (HF) Portfolio Senior Officer II is a senior-level position responsible for managing Citi’s credit risk to a portfolio of the firm’s most complex and large Hedge Fund relationships. Primary activities include credit due diligence, credit reviews, credit approvals and monitoring of the portfolio within the risk appetite of the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Citi’s business lines (1st LoD) across all products, with a particular focus on Prime Brokerage, as well as Risk Management (2nd LoD)

• Lead extensive client-interface through the due diligence meetings, negotiation of credit structures and documentation, including ISDA’s, Derivatives Clearing, FCM and Repo documents

What you’ll do

The Global Rates Team within the Market Risk Management group is responsible for the oversight of this business. This role is for a Risk Manager, located in New York, to lead an existing team focused on the market risks associated with the G10 Rates Trading business in the region.

The G10 NAM Rates Trading business is a significant business providing interest rate market-making and solutions to customers as part of the Global Rates franchise covering a wide-ranging set of products from Sovereign bonds to exotics.

The successful candidate must be able to build effective relationships with front office and other groups as well as risk colleagues, challenge assumptions, be comfortable with quantitatively complex issues, willing to work at the detailed level and be a producer of high quality and insightful output. It is vital that the candidate should have and develop further a very good technical knowledge of interest rate products as well as market risk approaches. Over time there may be scope to expand to cover other aspects of the business within Global Rates.

Role Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the identification and evaluation of market risks generated by the G10 NAM Rates business. Identification of ‘top risks’ and outlier stress events. Working on and performing ad-hoc scenarios.

• Leverage the experience and competences of the team members to achieve the team objectives. Provide guidance to team members and develop the talent of the team.

• Communication with trading desks.

• Candidate must be very comfortable discussing linear and non-linear products (bonds, swaps, cross currency swaps, vanilla options, exotics) and their risks and building spreadsheets to analyze risk and market data, portfolio risks and individual trades.

• Working with others to ensure that the reported exposures are correct and cover the main drivers of risk and potential P/L; identification and resolution of any data issues.

• Ensuring limits are properly set and monitored accurately. Contribute to the development or production of metrics used to satisfy regulatory requirements and stress testing processes.

• Periodic preparation of information material and presentation to senior management and regulators. Ability to speak as needed on market events.

• Review and validate assumptions in risk models used by underlying business units and analyze the impact of model changes.

• Work closely with Financial Control, Price Verification and the Model Validation groups within the organization to ensure that the proper controls are in place.

• Help with reviews of new business proposals including risk limits setting and monitoring and ensuring risks can be fully captured within the firm’s systems.

Experience / Competencies:

• Proven, relevant experience in rates markets with good knowledge of the markets, products and risk.

• Good quantitative level of experience with rate products and their risks.

• Experience with portfolio risk measurement techniques including VAR and stress testing.

• Strong relationship management and liaison with business people of all levels. But must be willing to challenge as needed, particularly front office.

• Must be dedicated to information integrity and to producing high quality and insightful output and hitting deadlines where applicable. Must be prepared to go into as much detail as is required to resolve issues. Must be capable of working very productively using time very efficiently.

• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Bachelor level degree, Masters or PhD can be useful. Familiarity with financial or statistical modelling is beneficial.

• Strong experience and facility with Excel including VBA and add-in functions, ideally with experience of using financial pricing functions. Python and/or Business Intelligence experience not required, but useful.

The US Personal Banking (USPB) Marketing Transformation and Delivery (MT&D) organization is responsible for marketing operations, channel delivery and marketing technology in support of the Consumer Bank’s marketing efforts; inclusive of Branded Cards, Retail Bank, Retail Services, Mortgage and Wealth Management.  The Head of Marketing Transformation is a key leader within the organization, responsible for building and leading a multi-faceted team of professionals charged with defining, driving, and commercializing our Transformation roadmap with a focus on radically improving speed to market, operating efficiency, and quality.  The leader will work with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise to fundamentally reshape end-to-end capabilities leveraging a diverse consultative toolkit and strong facilitation skills to manifest meaningful change.  This job requires an experienced change leader preferably with deep exposure to Consumer Financial Services Marketing capabilities.  He or she should be skilled in driving radical innovation across processes, operating model design, infrastructure, and policy implementation. 

Responsibilities:

• Defining the transformation strategy:  Lead the opportunity discovery efforts to identify target strategic initiatives while working with leadership to help define the longer-term organizational strategy for change.
• Mobilize and drive strategic initiatives:  Scope, mobilize, and drive critical strategic transformation programs with an emphasis on end-to-end change.   Leverage a diverse consultative toolkit and advanced facilitation techniques enabling deep collaboration & partnership with extended teams while accelerating the change management lifecycle.
• Value capture:  Drive articulation of the value of transformation across the Marketing ecosystem and all change programs impacting priority capabilities.  Measure and monitor the impact of change through both operational and financial metrics including improvements in speed to market, campaign agility, and operational risk.

• Risk & Control: Define and drive the evolution of our process-based risk framework ensuring future state design simplifies & standardizes the way in which we operate. Work with partners within and outside of Marketing Transformation & Delivery to ensure the organization meets its Risk commitments (e.g. Issue remediation, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 15+ Years of experience in Financial Services, Marketing, and/or Digital
• 10+ Years of experience leading and driving transformation and/or strategic consulting
• 8-10+ Years of team leadership experience
• 5+ Years in Marketing including strategy, operations, audience management, channel management, content, and/or MarTech
• Demonstrated expertise with a diverse consultative toolkit including process engineering, operating model design, business architecture & infrastructure change, business case development, and change management
• Proven process engineering experience resulting in significant improvements to cycle time, agility, and preventative controls; accreditation in process improvement disciplines a plus (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Highly skilled in building, driving, and coaching advanced problem solving & facilitation techniques; added emphasis on structured workshop delivery and program management
• Experience in strategy development roles with a proven ability to develop multi-year change plans, business cases, and storytelling to mobilize senior leadership against a common point of arrival
• Experience with a Management Consulting firm a plus
• Executive leadership skills and demonstrated success in conveying complex concepts, solutions, and relevant business impacts to executive audiences to gain support and drive organizational alignment
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with the ability to influence the development and execution of key strategies/initiatives
