At our local programme - Project HomeWorks, we work with vulnerable persons and families in Singapore who need help to transform their homes into a safe and sanitary state. We assist homeowners through a series of intensive half-day sessions powered by staff and volunteers, providing a combination of one or more of the following services depending on the need: Pest control, painting, intensive cleaning and re-organising.

This work involves:

• Liaising with referring partners- usually social workers from government agencies, VWOs;
• Co-creating solutions with homeowners during home visits;
• Equipping and inspiring volunteers from all walks of life to join in the work;
• Managing project logistics and operations;
• Documenting project details and expenses.

For the Programme Executive position, we are looking for someone who:

• Is willing to uphold the principles (vision and mission) of Habitat for Humanity Singapore (Pls refer to https://www.habitat.org.sg/about-us for details.)
• Possesses strong organising skills with a good eye for detail;
• Possesses good people relations skills in engaging beneficiaries, volunteers and partners;

• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and email

Job Description

1. Manage and lead a team of draftsman/BIM modellers for a D&B project.
2. Plays a key role of coordination between onshore team and offshore team.
3. Coordinate with structural team and M&E team to ensure the final design is in-line with architect’s designintents and client’s requirements.
4. Ensure the Architectural designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
5. Review & verify consultants design drawings and translate them into shop drawings.
6. Monitor the schedule of design processes and submission of shop drawings according to Master Program.

8. Assist draftsmen to amend shop drawings during peak time to make sure that quality drawings are issuedfor construction on time.

About ASEF Communications Department (COM)

COM promotes Asia-Europe cooperation by advancing awareness and knowledge about ASEF, ASEM and key issues of Asia-Europe relations. Aimed at a diverse range of constituencies including the media and general public, COM’s activities foster greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe. Among ASEF’s thematic areas, COM is responsible for Media. About the Position
