About the role

The role is within the finance function which covers Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, GST, withholding tax and various reporting.

The job entails working closely within the finance team as well as in close collaboration with business teams.

Responsiblities

Purchase to Pay

• Processes accounts payable invoice matching and verifying with purchase orders, delivery Order/goods receipts.
• Ensure accounts payable invoice and expenses claims are accurate, properly coded and approved by relevant cost center Manager.
• Generate Unpaid Bills report for liquidity planning,
• Generates electronic (online) payments to vendors, ensure cheques are authorized and in line with Corporate Policy and processes.
• New Vendor registration to ERP, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, reconciling Supplier Statement.
• Clear and reconcile unallocated payments in ERP systems.
• Ensures completeness of balance sheet schedule every month include reconciliation of payments, prepare analysis of accounts, monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Research and resolve invoice issues.
• Prepare journal voucher, ensure timely closing of Expense and Account Payable accounts.

Order to Cash

• Perform Abaxx’s invoicing and reconciliation activities to ensure timely invoicing and collection from clearing members.
• Provide timely updates of collection status and escalation of unresolved issues to business stakeholders for timely follow up and intervention,
• Prepare journal voucher, ensure timely closing of Revenue and Account Receivable accounts,
• Perform bank reconciliation and recording of transactions from bank activities.

Monthly Reporting and Annual Audit

• Prepare monthly management report on expenditure and comparison with budget
• Prepare quarterly GST return for approval and submission for all Singapore entities,
• Prepare withholding tax return and payments as and when required,
• Prepare audit schedule and participate in annual external audit
• Prepare various tax schedule and assist with annual corporate tax return
• Participate in internal audits.

Participate in projects and various management initiatives

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in finance operation or audit.
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and internal control
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure,
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels,
• Meticulous, conscientious, hands-on,
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision,
• Oracle NetSuite system experience is an advantage,
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Words, PowerPoint. Proficiency with other software will be an added advantage

Reporting to General Ledger Supervisor, the Accountant I is responsible for maintaining accuracy of the financial statements for multiple legal entities:-

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Liaises with external auditors and external consultants to complete annual statutory audits
• Responsible for monthly closing activities; preparation and recording of all journal entries, in accordance to US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (“US GAAP”) and local statutory requirements. Ensure that accounting transactions are properly supported, recorded, and reported
• Preparation of monthly variance analysis including correlation to operational results and interaction with operational business units

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable (“AR”) function manages all aspects of AR for APAC region-based customers, including credit control, collection, receipts posting, billing, statutory tax invoice.

The APAC AR Analyst will be responsible for managing APAC customer receipts posting, proforma invoice billing, local tax invoice issuance and collection tasks. Accounts Receivable – Transactions:

• Monitor and identify issues with billings and bank file loads.  Escalate issues or recommend resolution as appropriate.
• Perform daily cash application posting, billing run and AR ledger closing month-end procedures.
• Upload invoices in Korea Tax portal timely.
• Monthly Korean VAT reconciliation and following up on Korea eVAT invoices with internal stakeholders and external tax agency.
• Issue Credit Card payment links for Korean customers.
• Liaise with local Korea bank and professional firm on AR related matters.
• Purchase of trade guarantee for contracts/tender, including Korea-specific ones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Accounts Receivable – Credit and Collections:

• Monitor and analyze aging accounts, taking proactive measures to mitigate collection risks and minimize outstanding receivables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and addressing concerns promptly.
• Serve as primary point of contact for AR-related enquiries.
• Send out of monthly statement of accounts to customers / channel partners.
• Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable aging reports for internal stakeholders.
• Update collection/payment status in collection web portal (GetPaid).

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the AR working capital cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.

Engage the subject matter experts in creating engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, and interactive modules, to promote understanding of cyber security awareness/best practices and any training required for compliance purposes.

Track and report on training effectiveness and participation rates, and adjust training content as necessary with subject matter experts, to address emerging threats and challenges

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Tertiary education with working experience/knowledge in the following area:

Proven experience in preparing audits and assessments related to ISO 27001, 22301, and information security standards.

Proven experience in project management.

Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, PMP, ISO 27001/22301 Lead Auditor, or equivalent are desirable.

Purpose of the Role

We are looking to hire a highly innovative, organised, and flexible team member to join our successful Managed Accounts Middle Office team in New York with a specific focus on assisting the team in implementing solutions relating to Profit & loss (PnL) analysis and client reporting.  This role will include a suite of daily tasks as well as direct interactions with the platform’s North American client base.

Our hedge fund managed account platform is a growing and fast-paced area of the business which requires the ability to work collaboratively and innovatively within a robust control environment. Our Managed Accounts Middle Office team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our managed account platform.

This role will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders as well as external service providers. You will assist in overseeing our client reporting, PnL analysis, and service provider oversight while ensuring our policies and procedures are met.

Given the varied nature of our managed account platform and wide range of tasks performed by the team, you’ll have the opportunity to progress your career in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in many different areas of middle office operations as well as gain valuable insight into the Hedge Fund industry.

Specific Responsibilities

• Communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders [Investment risk, portfolio managers, funds treasury, developers] and external stakeholders [service providers] to ensure client deliverables are met to the highest quality
• Work with team members to develop and deliver reporting, answer client queries as well as assist the wider SOLUTION business where necessary
• Actively implement process improvements and streamline processes where applicable
• Analyze PnL data and fee calculations for different hedge fund trading strategies
• Monitor each administrators’ day-to-day fund deliverables against service levels
• Ensure all day-to-day operational processes are completed according to deadlines and agreed quality controls

Key Competencies

• Up to 2 years’ equivalent experience
• Effective problem-solving skills to identify new solutions to drive our platform, capabilities, and team forward
• High levels of pro-activity, organization, self-motivation, and ownership to deliver

Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. Tax Analyst Account reconciliations

Job Summary

Controllership Accounting, Statutory and Reporting (CASR) is responsible for leading and delivery the close activities, local statutory audits, and tax compliance activities for worldwide entities.

 

Tax Compliance COE (Tax COE) within the CASR COE is responsible for different tax compliance activities like providing information to our service providers for CIT filings, preparation of data required for transfer pricing documentation, USGAAP provision and related compliances. The recent addition of scope to this team is the performance of the accounts’ reconciliations for direct tax GLs which are currently outsourced.

 

This team will be responsible for the transition of the process back to HP, performance and review of the CIT accounts reconciliation and establishing the cadence of review and follow-ups with the stakeholders.

 

These are positions based out of Bangalore.

Responsibilities

·       Transition of the activities from the current 3rd party service provider.

·       Prepare CIT Accounts reconciliations using the Cadency tool as per the Company’s requirements.

·       Follow up on the open items, maintain the action tracker and follow up for closure.

·       Participate in the review with the stakeholders (tax, controllership, auditors etc.)

·     Assist in providing data to service providers for preparation of corporate tax returns, Transfer pricing documentation.
