Inquiry Management

• Discuss employee confirmation, transfer, conversion, renewal and re-employment with HOCs/HODs, managers and staff to ensure smooth transition to the next milestone, new position or employment phase/condition, etc.
• Coach managers on the Performance Appraisal process with Form completion and performance conversations with employees
• Prepare and handle employee off-boarding to ensure smooth and gracious exit experience, be it voluntary or involuntary exit

b) Employee Retention effort

• Propose retention options, initiatives and strategies to better retain talents and reduce staff turnover
• Conduct surveys and interviews to gather valuable feedback

As a Senior HR Consultant you will Manage the performance and development of the assigned team to ensure managers and employees receive consistent and up to date advice, in a way that positively influences the employee's experience.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior HR Consultant, some of your responsibilities will be:

• Deliver a professional advice and consultancy service that meets strategic objectives, and covers the employee life cycle, including resourcing, probation, induction, performance management, employee relations cases and organisational change.
• Ensure the assigned team maintain accurate and up to date records of all casework in the centralised case management solution.
• Provide coaching and support to the assigned team to ensure the provision of consistent advice to managers.
• Ensure the assigned team proactively manage cases, e.g., resolution (grievance, bullying & harassment), disciplinary, capability, sickness and other activity, e.g., organisational change, job evaluation and TUPE transfers.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of fundamental HR policies and processes and their application in reaching a successful
• MCIPD or equivalent

Essential Criteria:

Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists
Experience of working with children and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children.
Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.
