Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Senior Procurement Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure cost-effective and quality products.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze customer preferences and adjust product offerings accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Work closely with the finance department to manage and control budgetary aspects related to procurement.
• Explore opportunities for cost savings without compromising on product quality.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to convey expectations and resolve any issues promptly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement role within the food industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, quality standards, and industry trends.
• Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.

• Location: West
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
