• Create brochures and training materials including multimedia visual aids and presentations.

• Create testing and evaluation processes.

• Prepare and implement training budget.

• Provide government organizations with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

• Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.

• Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.

• Assist with the development of strategic plans.   

• Support one or multiple management consulting projects, with particular focus on strategic project management, process improvement, training development and implementation, change management and communications, and programmatic strategy projects,

• Serve as a main point of contact for information collection from office stakeholders and coordination of training and learning development program.

• Conduct working sessions, focus groups, and organizational outreach to gather requirements, operational activities, and build training plans and sessions.

• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, including planning and facilitating client meetings,

• Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment,

• Utilize creative thinking skills and individual initiative to inform both client work and internal efforts,

• Develop trusted relationships with clients,

• Provide guidance and feedback to team members.

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

• Bachelor’s Degree is required

• 3+ years of experience with corporate or public sector adult learning and development and implementation, programs.

• Experience supporting senior officials in government or industry. 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including experience developing Department-wide policies and communications, budget reports, and senior executive talking points or keynote addresses. 

• Ability to identify and address client needs, build solid relationships with clients and customers, and communicate with executive clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner. 

• A flexible, customer-centric approach to support rapidly changing business needs and new priorities.

Virtual School Education Officer

Start date - ASAP

Contract length - Initially 3 months

Hours per week - 37 hours per week

Rate of pay - £221ltd per day

The London Borough of Hillingdon are seeking a Virtual School Education Officer to join their team. As a Virtual School Education Officer, you will manage a caseload of Looked After Children to ensure that they have the support in place to overcome barriers to their learning so that they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of around 35 Looked After Children
• Track and monitor progress and attendance
• Arrange and chair Personal Education Planning meetings
• Agree targets and action plans to support education
• Provide support to foster carers and residential home key workers, social workers, personal advisors and designated teachers/student support services in schools and colleges

Requirements:

• Experience in working with Looked After Children
• Knowledge of the education system and the challenges faced by Looked After Children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Qualifications:

• A degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable
• Experience in working with Looked After Children
