What you’ll be doing:

• Support the organisation’s transformation into a data-driven organisation by charting the strategic directions to design, develop and deliver Data and Analytics capabilities that includes:

7. Collaborations with partners and stakeholders to research in advance AI/ML model to solve complex and/or wicked problem statements beyond Data Science, when no readily available solution can be found in the market.
8. Proliferate and upskill Data Science competencies within organisation, including supporting relevant training to upskill data analysis/data science proficiency levels.

• Ensure timely delivery and implementation of the enterprise data and sense making projects that include data architectures (ingestion, storage, acquisition, validation), data exchanges, big data analytics platforms, user data and analytics systems.
• Lead strategic discussions with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and capabilities.
• Act as the organisation’s Chief Data Officer and drive the following initiatives:

1. Work with governance units to ensure data security governance complies with the prevailing policies and addresses all matters relating to data governance and solutions required to ensure secured, timely and efficient delivery of data to the respective stakeholders.
2. Drive the management, use and sharing of data in a secure manner, and plug any gaps to comply with organisation guidelines.
3. Define the organisation’s data strategy, goals, polices and management of organisation’s data assets, and coordinate returns for organisation’s indices.
4. Raise the staff’s awareness on data policies, procedures and promote culture of data privacy and security.
5. Drive data analytics adoption within the organisation and promote data-driven business decisions.

• Work with users to identify appropriate Data Science solutions to better users’ current outcomes, bring new or additional value to their operations, and/or create new/transformative capabilities for the users, such as:

1. Lead users and diverse stakeholders to understand and identify users’ challenges and co-define problem statements where Data Science solutions can mitigate these challenges.
2. Work with users and multi-disciplinary technical/specialist teams to scope and formulate problem statements and identify the appropriate Data Science solutions to achieve the best outcomes to these problems.
3. Manage the proper resourcing of projects with the right people with the right competencies and expertise; influence and negotiate with stakeholders to secure the required resources

About The Role

As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Contact Centre. You will drive change, and work with the Head on operational strategies, capacity planning, cost/benefit analysis and performance reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Leads operations at the Healthcare Group Contact Centre and ensure 24/7 system readiness
• Ensure staff consistently deliver timely and professional response across all channels
• Optimize resources to handle all channels
• Track and monitor processes through performance indicators. Trend analysis and benchmark key performance indicators
• Ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues and resolution of problems
• Liaison person between Institutions and Group Contact Centre. Partners both internal and external stakeholders to ensure patients’ positive experience along the continuum of care
• Responsible for customer satisfaction/ experience scores. Works closely with stakeholders to continuously improve service levels and delight patients.
• Lead, motivate, guide and train admin and ancillary staff to perform to the best of their abilities and to develop their potential.
• Develop Individual Development Plan (IDP) for staff to ensure they receive appropriate training and development so that they possess necessary knowledge and skills to carry out their roles.Create a conducive environment to facilitate open communication between staff and management
• Support Head, Group Contact Centre on staff recruitment and retention efforts
• Lead quality improvement projects within the centre
• Drive and implement change(s) to workflows and processes to enhance service standards

Requirements:

• A recognised Degree in any discipline
• At least 8 years’ experience in Healthcare and/or Contact Centre
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with track record of strong working relationship at various levels
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet operational goals
• Self-directed, resourceful and self-motivated with an analytical mind and good problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a stressful environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications

Additionally, you will monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory developments to proactively address potential challenges and leverage opportunities. This is a dynamic and impactful position that requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Singapore market and its unique challenges.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communication Management: Work closely with the Group Communications Director and actively participate in the planning and execution of group-wide communication strategies that span across all brands under our Group, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall business goals
• Brand and Reputation Management: Manage and protect the DFI brand and reputation both internally and externally, particularly in the context of change management initiatives
• Issues and Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication planning and response, effectively managing media relations and safeguarding DFI’s reputation
• Government & Community Relations: Proactively engage and foster strategic relationships with government entities and community organizations. This role involves seeking collaborative opportunities that resonate with our group's strategic objectives, understanding regulatory trends, and advocating for DFI’s position. The focus is on building and maintaining positive, mutually beneficial relationships that enhance our brand's presence and contribution within the community and political landscape
• ESG Communications: Drive the internal and external communication in support of DFI's ESG initiatives, promoting the company's commitment to environmental, social, and governance responsibilities
• Communications Content Development: Generate and supervise the creation of engaging communication materials for various channels, maintaining consistency in messaging and brand values.
• Event Management: Oversee corporate events, ensuring they reflect group strategies and enhance brand image
• Support Marketing Communications: Where necessary, partner with the marketing teams to amplify integrated communication strategies that complement marketing efforts
• Leadership and Internal Communications: Provide communication guidance to senior leadership and foster a transparent and engaging internal communication culture
• Media Relations: Handle media inquiries, maintain journalist relations, and manage public communications
• Team Leadership and Development: Effectively develop and coach members of the Corporate Communications team, setting objectives, evaluating performance, and fostering professional growth

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Around 10 years of working experience in public relations, media, corporate communications or public affairs under FMCG or retail industries.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore market dynamics, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
