Your background

What you can expect

The Credit and Loans Ops team handles Bilateral, Syndicated, Committed and Non-Committed Loans. The team liaises with internal stakeholders (Bankers, Enterprise Credit, Client Services and the Offshore processing teams) to ensure successful setting up of credit facilities and Loans disbursement. This team also assists with Bancontrol operations where it handles all operational matters related to dormant accounts.

The Singapore Trade operations team is a middle office team which works closely with clients, front office and the back-end processing centre to ensure Trade Finance transactions are processed timely and accurately. Products handled includes import and export letters of credit, inward and outward collections, Bankers Guarantee and Standby Letters of Credit issuance, supply chain financing and Trade Loans.

Job Description

· Supervise the following operations related to employees of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) who are expatriated to other countries in Asia Region, e.g., Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar.

- Payroll: to collect information from the companies that MC staff are seconded, calculate salaries and give instructions on transferring salary to related departments in Human Link Corporation (HLC)**

- Benefits expenses settlement such as educational expenses, medical expenses, housing fee and etc.: to collect applications, check/review evidence and send them to related departments in HLC.

• Produce corporate collaterals, including the annual report, newsletters, brochures, and print and online news by coordinating internal stakeholders, writing content, managing timelines, and liaising with vendors for production and delivery.
• Support fundraising and community relations through relevant communication channels such as EDMs and digital media outlets.
• Guide team members by providing direction and helping to refine ideas and content.
• Manage brand reputational issues, formulate and execute crisis communication plan as the need arises.
• Oversee the events initiated by the department.
• Ensure quality and consistency in materials produced, and the timely reporting of required metrics.
• Day-to-day administrative tasks across the department.

Media Relations

• Develop content for a range of communication collaterals, including news releases, reports, infographics, and opinion pieces.
• Proactively engage online and mainstream media to promote and build positive awareness of SLEC.
• Lead media-related events (media interviews, media releases and publicity engagement materials).
• Support advisory to internal stakeholders on media outreach and management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Event Management, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum six years of prior experience in marketing or corporate communication, content marketing or public relations.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Strong media engagement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to set clear guidelines and deadlines.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, resourceful, a good team player, with an affable personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Effectively bilingual (spoken) in English and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Strong team management and people development skills.

Manager/ Senior Manager – Technology

Responsibilities:

• Managing the service desk team
• Awareness of end user needs and changing requirements
• Command and control leadership – ability to understand the problem, analyse and account for incidents
• Manage the service delivery team to successful execution of daily production duties
• Lead technical discussions within the service desk team
• Escalate all production / non-production issues to the relevant teams and stakeholders
• Proactive engagement on all high priority incidents, identify under-reported issues and flag potential pitfalls
• Provide post mortem analysis and reports of incidents
• Authoritatively and confidently guide escalation tickets to resolution

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree within a given technical field
• 7 – 10 years of operations management
• 7 – 10 years in a technical role with expertise in one or more of the following technical disciplines (networking, security, storage, servers)
• 5+ years of experience managing teams especially business service operational support
• Articulating high level business requirements to senior management
• Ability to develop strong rapport and build relationships across departments and at multiple levels of the organisation
• Ability to be proactive with a strong desire for continuous improvement of practices and processes
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• ITSM, ITIL and other service management certifications are advantageous
