The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and coordinate high-quality administration of the day-to-day running of the Biomedical Research Centre grant to ensure effective and efficient conduct. You will work closely with the Chief Investigators, Co-Investigators, researchers and colleagues within the Nottingham NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Surgery, Trauma, Musculoskeletal Ageing and Recovery (BRC MSK) Theme to ensure successful completion of the research.

The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) was established on 1st October 2015, to be the collaborative partner in 3D printing technology creation and innovation through working with different industries, agencies and institutions to develop capabilities in additive manufacturing, innovate and accelerate additive manufacturing to increase Singapore"s global manufacturing competitiveness.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at the NAMIC@Additive Innovation Centre (NAMIC@AIC) A*STAR Hub as the industry development manager. The AIC Hub aims to introduce A*STAR’s integrated additive manufacturing technology offerings that can benefit the industry, with the objective to increase collaboration with key industry partners. The collaborations are targeted to translate research into applications, promote pilot production and accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) in Singapore.

School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences seek to hire the position of Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Research and Graduate Studies Office. The position will assist the school management primarily in the administration of research and graduate studies.

Key Responsibilities:

MOU and Joint/Dual Degree Agreement

• In charge of the drafting of new agreements, liaising with partner universities, attending meetings with partner universities for submission to Chair, Dean, Graduate College ExCo, Provost Council and MOE.
• Monitoring students admitted to the joint/dual degree programmes.
• Compile annual reports for reporting to the University.

Examination Planning and Conduct

• In charge of exam planning for every semester’s final exams.
• Take lead in conduct of decentralized exams.
• Arrangement of Division and School BOE.
• Analyse exam results of postgraduate students and identify at-risk students to report to the school management.

Thesis Submission

• Process thesis examination processes including checking of thesis format, arranging oral defence and assisting students to graduate on time.
• Ensure students meet the graduation requirement.

Course Registration

• To process the course registration and maintenance of courses.
• Support the administration for the approval of new courses as set by the school.

ACR Office Seminar Series

• To invite nominated speakers officially for the seminar.
• In charge of all logistics requirement for the setup of the seminar.
• To process honorarium for speakers.

Compilation of Statistical Data

• Generate data as requested by the School/College/University/MOE.
• Provide analysis and projections for School/College/University/MOE.
• Any other administrative tasks given by the University/School.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or higher degree, in any discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in tertiary education
• IT knowledge, proficient in MS office application
• Demonstrated ability to understand and to work in an academic environment
• Demonstrated ability in analytical, planning and organizational abilities
• Meticulous
• Able to work independently and as a team
