Founded in 2020, Antina is a JV between Starhub Mobile and M1 and is responsible for the rolling out of the 5G Standalone (SA) Radio Access Network (RAN) in Singapore for the two mobile network operators.
The Standalone 5G (SA) RAN is a game-changing ultra-high speed, low-latency network, and one which will enable new use cases across entertainment, cloud gaming, transportation, education and healthcare. 5G is used across three main types of connected services, including enhanced mobile broadband, mission-critical communications, and the massive IoT.

Non-standalone 5G (NSA) was the first stage of 5G, using a new 5G radio (or 5G NR) access network overlaid on an existing 4G LTE network core. Standalone (SA) 5G uses the 5G NR access network on a brand new 5G network core. • Provide regular reporting to the management and submit accurate and timely reports to regulators (as applied) to ensure the avoidance of sanctions/fines from regulators.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains up-to-date and compliant.
• Liaise with external regulators such as the Land National Office, Ministry of Law and Humans Rights, Courts, and other related government agencies.

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Legal Credit and/or Operation function of financial institutions, preferably Multifinance Company and/or Banks.
• Solid understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a focus on legal credit, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Exceptional attention to detail, highly responsible, with strong integrity, commitment and discipline.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceeding expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively communicate advice backed up by sound judgment.

Our legal team provides commercially focused legal support across the operational and functional divisions of the Pact business on a broad range of subject matters.

Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, your role sits within the group structure and as such is part of a legal team with a global remit. 

You will partner closely with all areas of our business and external advisors.

Your key responsibilities will be to support and advise in the following areas;

• Commercial Contracting 
• General legal advice
• Dispute resolution
• Regulatory support and advice
• Project and M&A 
• Legal continuous improvement

Your skills and experience

• Prior experience operating at a similar level of general commercial law in a private practice or in-house environment.
• Experience in FMCG, property, competition, dispute resolution, IP, OHS, HR/IR or IT would be advantageous but not essential.
• Proven history successfully advising on legal matters in New Zealand and/or Asia would be advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication, with ability to adjust style appropriate to the audience.
• Ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with senior management.
• Ability to work autonomously and with the support of other members of the legal team as required.
• Understanding and ability to appreciate the strategic and commercial implications of decisions and the impact on the business.
• Innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile with a proactive ‘problem-solving’ approach to practice.
• Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential requirements.
