CHALLENGES

You will provide Clinical Operations Support and Service Management across a few clinical disciplines (e.g. Endocrinology, Ophthalmology and Allied Health) for the Specialist Outpatient Clinic at the Specialist Centre . The successful candidate will be working as part of a combined Head and Neck surgical oncology unit primarily under the supervision of Mr Asit Arora (Head and Neck Robotic Surgery Lead) in addition to Mr Jean-Pierre Jeannon. Mr Arora is a proctor in Head and Robotic Surgery for Intuitive Surgical, sits on the TORS Medical Advisory Board for CMR Surgical and runs a PhD program in Surgical technology at KCL.

As a Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be completing nurse led assessments of patient needs and coordinating patients ongoing journey from point of referral at time of diagnosis and beyond. You will be an advocate for the patient to ensure their choices and decisions are being followed and respected. You will provide emotional support for patients and their carers/relatives during their treatment and care.You will be involved in working collaboratively, in partnership with the multidisciplinary team, to develop and advise highly specialised programme of care for patients.
