RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Development Projects Management, the Business Development Assistant Manager/Manager will be responsible for the success and growth of schools within the network of EtonHouse International Education Group, by implementing the Group's strategic objectives.
Business Development
- Identify new sites for development which includes conducting local market research, coordinating, drafting & submitting tender bids (for govt projects), driving negotiation & coordinating Tenancy Agreement liaison work (for commercial projects)
- Keep track of market intelligence in the industry in respect to market development, projects, competitive activity and customers
- Manage new project roll-out including but not limited to new school setup which include procurement of supplies and services and liaising with various external stakeholders such as local government authorities and/or commercial landlord to manage timely deliverables and compliance
- Lead contact for assigned schools to manage lease renewals, site updates and renovation or improvement works by coordinating efforts with the Group's project team
- Ensure compliance with relevant government authorities by applying for and clearing licenses
- Identify, negotiate and manage vendors and suppliers for the Group's centralized procurement system
- Assist in new growth areas identified and contribute to their full-life cycle
Project Management
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing business development projects and initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and achievement of objectives
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may arise during project execution
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents
- Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and expense tracking for business development initiatives
- Handle general inquiries and correspondence on behalf of the department
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Company
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business or equivalent professional qualifications
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of the education sector will be an advantage
- Analytical, resourceful, self-driven and excellent interpersonal skills
- A problem-solver, resilient and strong work ethic
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
