Job Description

The Corporate Lab aims to develop for Singapore Airlines a new approach to design optimal price tiers for air tickets and manage seat inventory, to help maximize revenues for airlines, leveraging on modern analytical tools and technologies that can perform deep data analytics in airline revenue management system. The current solution provided by its new commercial vendor is adequate but could not address specific issues faced by SIA, including the price elasticity estimation, dynamic pricing and competition considerations etc. These are all unique to SIA and customized solution methodology needs to be developed for these purposes. Requirements:

1) A degree in Civil Engineering from a university or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.

2) Minimum 6 years of design experience in Building projects and/or Earth Retaining Structures.

3) Competent in common engineering design software, analytical tools and/or BIM software.

4) Familiar with relevant regulations and authority submissions and capable of leading the entire submissions process.

5) Knowledge of CAD or Revit processes.

6) Competent in precast concrete, post-tensioned concrete and steel works design.

7) Familiarity with MET and PPVC will be an added advantage.

Job Description :

1) Lead and perform Civil/Structural engineering design and BIM process.

2) Prepare technical specifications and manage projects.

3) Conduct feasibility study, engineering assessment and prepare technical report.

4) Carry out site inspections and technical reviews, when necessary.

The NDT Level III Engineer is responsible for managing and establishing internal NDT process and system and other assigned special process.
This position will touch all aspects of industrial gas turbine component repair process and develop the key solutions to solve inspection issues, as well as to train the technicians and audit the process.

Essential Responsibilities
- Drive processes to continuously improve the safe, quality, delivery and costs and ensure compliance with all governing specifications, codes, and standards
- Administer the NDT Program, responsible for NDT Level III duties to include processes, procedures, techniques, training, qualification, and certification
- Experience in implementing and qualify new NDT processes, including Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Visual, and Eddy Current, having a working knowledge of each technology and its strengths and limitations to ensure the proper inspection technique for the task.
- Ability to troubleshoot, provide technical leadership, and correct NDT processes while maintaining product and process flow.
- Implement and qualify other assigned special process, procedures and techniques
- Train and mentor Level I and Level II NDT technicians both on the Shop Floor and in the Classroom
- Perform process assessments and leadership in audits
- Research and implement new Inspection techniques and technologies to improve current processes.
- Ensure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations
- Identify, drive, mentor, and implement projects that improve overall production quality

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university with at least 6 years of experience in an engineering or quality position
- Current ASNT NDT Level III certification in Ultrasonics, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle or Eddy Current
