We have a new, exciting opportunity for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources and Payroll Team.

This post will be pivotal in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a specific business area (currently, matchday teams), and provide generalist HR advice, guidance, and risk-based solutions to key stakeholders on a range of people-based activities such as recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, reward & recognition and staff engagement.

Operating within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this will be a busy role with a varied caseload and offers an opportunity to actively contribute to other HR initiatives. 3. The Person
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Human Resources, or relevant work experience gained in lieu of qualification will also be considered. You will have demonstrable experience of providing HR advice and guidance across a varied casework e.g. recruitment, paternity/maternity, flexible working requests, sickness absence, grievance, disciplinary., and have up to date knowledge of HR policies, practices, and practical application of UK employment law.

You will have the ability to liaise and build successful relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders at all levels by demonstrating personal credibility and integrity, and have an awareness of using sensitive, highly confidential personal information and data. The successful candidate will also have strong organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure, use your own initiative and make recommendations for improvements to processes.
