As part of a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) you will have responsibility for managing generalist HR guidance and support to dedicated client groups, contributing to the delivery of the Company's business and people strategies. You will act as a key partner to the functional leadership and management teams, champion a culture of high performance and assist with the design and delivery of commercially focused people solutions.
You will deliver this across a variety of activity-streams including: Employee Relations, Resource, Talent & Succession and organisational change, as well as supporting our Together for Integrity (T4I) programme, Employee Surveys and Performance and Reward cycles.
An important part of this role will see you having oversight of the HR Advisors and working closely with our Employee Relations (ER) & HR Compliance Manager to coach and guide our people managers to effectively manage all employee relations matters and formal casework, ensuring consistency and fairness of approach across the organisation. Your advice will deliver a positive outcome for the business, whilst observing employment legislation, upholding our Company values and, identifying and minimising risk.

• Initiate, review, and approve daily HR system transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee employee records, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date, and support audits, government surveys, and reporting.
• Serve as a consultant to other departments to help streamline and improve HR processes and procedures and to provide training on best practices.
• Maintain internal HR control standards, including timely implementation of internal audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Partner with colleagues to improve processes and systems to deliver a positive experience throughout the employee’s lifecycle.
• Contribute to educating HR generalists, people managers, and employees on practices and tools to encourage them to resolve issues through HR systems and platforms.
• Provide orientation to new hires and deliver training for processes, programs, and platform rollouts.
• Ensure exceptional service by promptly responding to questions by employees via HR platform where country-specific HR knowledge or solutions are required and update knowledge database articles.
• Support projects including acquisition deals, representing the HR Global Services organization as needed.
Education & Experience Recommended:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or related HR services experience and demonstrated competence.
• 2-4 years related experience in HR Administration, payroll etc.

Internally, this role is known as a People Advisor.
This role is based at Beeston, Nottingham.
Full-time fixed-term role from June 2024 - April 2025.
Salary: £34,233 - £37,656
Our People Advisors work alongside Directors, Heads of Service, and Managers to provide proactive HR support and guidance on a range of people management and workforce issues, enabling leaders to improve business performance through their people. This spans an array of HR disciplines, including the planning of resourcing activity, change management, employee engagement and wellbeing, employee relations management, organisational and job design, leadership and talent development, and colleague capability and skills.
People Advisors work directly, with and through other HR colleagues, to get things done and deliver results for our managers. Through this, they strengthen MTVH’s culture, embed our values into how we deliver services, and create the right environment for improved organisational performance.
While all People Advisors work across teams to help colleagues and provide support where it’s needed, they are also assigned to lead work with particular directorates, acting as their first point of contact for most operational HR issues.
What you’ll need to succeed:
With prior experience in delivering great customer service in a HR environment, you will have great relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. You will also have a curious, analytical, and pragmatic approach, and be able to identify the opportunities and risks in various courses of action. To support this, you will have a sound knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR best practices and will have experience in coaching and influencing others to achieve results.
Interviews are expected to commence on the 15th of April.
