As part of a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) you will have responsibility for managing generalist HR guidance and support to dedicated client groups, contributing to the delivery of the Company's business and people strategies. You will act as a key partner to the functional leadership and management teams, champion a culture of high performance and assist with the design and delivery of commercially focused people solutions.

You will deliver this across a variety of activity-streams including: Employee Relations, Resource, Talent & Succession and organisational change, as well as supporting our Together for Integrity (T4I) programme, Employee Surveys and Performance and Reward cycles.

An important part of this role will see you having oversight of the HR Advisors and working closely with our Employee Relations (ER) & HR Compliance Manager to coach and guide our people managers to effectively manage all employee relations matters and formal casework, ensuring consistency and fairness of approach across the organisation. • Support delivery of annual cyclical activities - GPS, etc and work with leaders to interpret PULSE (engagement survey) results and supporting managers in creating actions plans; partnering with respective CoE’s

Compliance and Policies

• Develop HR policies and handbooks maintaining compliance with relevant legislative employment requirements. Assist the business in understanding and navigating employment legal requirements in market including representative bodies (where applicable)

• Responsible for non ‘centralize’ local geographical compliance activities – e.g local government or state submissions / annual reporting / formal representative body (workers council or unions) discussions

Data and Insights

• Provide data analytics and data driven insight on people metrics, including on employee relations cases.

• Review exit interview data - identifying issue and insights which will help the business in addressing scale and succession challenges

Delivery & Leadership Support

• Support leader with execution of functional HR strategy, plans and objectives; Support delivery of programs (e.g., GPS, talent reviews), and execution of people plans based on outcomes of programs

• Participate in country or regional leadership teams for respective functions

• Coach & Influence senior leaders in execution of business delivery and people plans.

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience of managing and guiding business leaders on complex ER Cases liaising with Legal partners. Can assess and advise on consequences, risk and precedence of cases to build recommendations for resolution. Experience of advising on senior and sensitive cases.

• Solid understanding of employment regulations and legislation in market which they operate with the ability to navigate compliance and requirements and advise commercial approach and risks to the business. Able to request and interpret legal assessment on complex employee matters.

• Has capability to act as regional or advisory representative on programs in development and design of program

• Support managers in the completion and communication planning of HR cyclical processes including GPs processes and Pulse, ensuring they are aware of any regional or global ‘instructions/approaches’. Can represent regional or advisory in any development or reviews of processes. Comfortable supporting at senior leadership levels.

• Deliver and handle change for dedicated client area, including supporting and coaching managers in presenting the change

• Responsible for assimilating and interpreting multi data sources to provide people data metrics (using WFA tools) for designated client area.

• Provide input and insights to regional or global co-ordinator

• Proven record of assessing complex or multi faceted situations and reaching a fully considered decision

• Strong skills in analysing and assessing complex situations - understanding interconnections and implications to formulate solutions.

• Maintains working knowledge of business lines as well as competitive market at the country / functional level, align and drive people solution to business outcome

• Experience and proficient at influencing and coaching senior leaders. Has confidence to use questioning and influencing techniques in discussions with leaders.

HR Global Services Advisor for Turkiye and Greece

In this role you will oversee HR Global Services (operations) activities for Turkey and Greece, based out of our Istanbul office.

You will be responsible for conducting HR processes like onboarding, data management, and compliance, while also advising on service enhancements. You will manage employee records, collaborate on process improvements, maintain control standards, and aid in HR education and training. Your focus will be also on enhancing the employee experience, supporting projects, providing HR guidance, and contributing to seamless HR operations and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support and process HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in HR system (Workday), new-hire pre-onboarding, onboarding, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, termination of employment, etc.
• Initiate, review, and approve daily HR system transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee employee records, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date, and support audits, government surveys, and reporting.
• Serve as a consultant to other departments to help streamline and improve HR processes and procedures and to provide training on best practices.
• Maintain internal HR control standards, including timely implementation of internal audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Partner with colleagues to improve processes and systems to deliver a positive experience throughout the employee’s lifecycle.
• Contribute to educating HR generalists, people managers, and employees on practices and tools to encourage them to resolve issues through HR systems and platforms.
• Provide orientation to new hires and deliver training for processes, programs, and platform rollouts.

Education & Experience Recommended:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or related HR services experience and demonstrated competence.
• 2-4 years related experience in HR Administration, payroll etc.

The role:

Internally, this role is known as a People Advisor.

This role is based at Beeston, Nottingham.

Full-time fixed-term role from June 2024 - April 2025.

Salary: £34,233 - £37,656

Our People Advisors work alongside Directors, Heads of Service, and Managers to provide proactive HR support and guidance on a range of people management and workforce issues, enabling leaders to improve business performance through their people. This spans an array of HR disciplines, including the planning of resourcing activity, change management, employee engagement and wellbeing, employee relations management, organisational and job design, leadership and talent development, and colleague capability and skills.

People Advisors work directly, with and through other HR colleagues, to get things done and deliver results for our managers. Through this, they strengthen MTVH’s culture, embed our values into how we deliver services, and create the right environment for improved organisational performance.

While all People Advisors work across teams to help colleagues and provide support where it’s needed, they are also assigned to lead work with particular directorates, acting as their first point of contact for most operational HR issues.

What you’ll need to succeed:

With prior experience in delivering great customer service in a HR environment, you will have great relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. You will also have a curious, analytical, and pragmatic approach, and be able to identify the opportunities and risks in various courses of action. To support this, you will have a sound knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR best practices and will have experience in coaching and influencing others to achieve results.

Interviews are expected to commence on the 15th of April.
