Learning & Development

• Plan the Annual Training Calendar, update it once every 6 months and notify all staff of the training available. (This is done via extracting the training needs from PMO).

You will manage, drive and enable strategic HR projects and programs in support of our staff strategies. We are looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team! In the Shared Service team, A Human Resource Assistant is expected to be a professional who is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. You will assist with recruitment and record maintenance for payroll processing as well as provide clerical support to all employees under the group of companies.

Candidates are tasked to handle the day-to-day HR activities of the company and provide administrative support to the HR Department. Success in this role will be demonstrated by helping the organization maintain an adequate number of skilled employees or workers to meet productivity objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the HR functions including but not limited to:-

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
• Monitor attendance, calculate the OT and verify reported hours.
• Manage job posting and candidate sourcing.
• Handle Work Pass application, renewal, cancellation, and other related matters.
• Worker’s payroll processing.
• Maintain and timely renew worker's insurances (FWMI & WICA), and security bonds.
• Liaising with dormitory, vendor, and related parties.
• Coordinate with all departments on hiring plans, resignations, confirmation, and all HR-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with record-keeping and confidentiality standards.
• Facilitate effective internal communication through regular updates and announcements.

Other Duties:-

• Assist in the coordination of office administration
• Sorting of incoming mail on a daily basis
• Cover reception duties from time to time
• Undertake other assignments from time to time

As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at ArtU, you will establish credibility as a strategic partner, playing a consultative role to employees, managers and leaders. You will be the subject matter expert and serve as a consultant on a wide variety of Human Resources related issues. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of progressive professional HR experience with at least three years of experience managing employee relations in a strategic HR Business Partner role.  The desire to work in a fast paced environment as well as the ability to identify opportunities and align partnerships with the organization's goals are the skills the Senior HRBP will possess.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the business to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the human resources department working within a team environment; delivering superior quality of work and customer service
• Manage and enhance employee relations by developing and implementing strategies that promote effective communication, conflict resolution, and a culture of collaboration.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including leadership to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best practices

• Assist Director with developing, implementing and maintaining in-house management training programs that address University needs across departments and supports with the growth and development of employees and management staff.
• Identify and support with management of all multi-state employee leaves of absences and accommodations, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, SF Paid Parental Leave, ADA, time off without pay, USERRA, FFWO, etc.; in collaboration with the Lead Human Resources Generalist
• Advise and interpret HR policies and procedures for management and employees
• Ensure employees are properly informed of their rights, company policies and procedures in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of progressive professional HR experience with at least 3 years of experience managing employee relations in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
• Candidates that are passionate about customer service, people management, acting as a thought partner building strong partnerships with management and executive teams.  You are able to anticipate and understand the needs of others and communicate with empathy and patience.
• Strong HR knowledge is a must. You will need a solid understanding of state and federal laws concerning employee relations with the ability to apply them quickly and appropriately.
• Solutions-oriented business approach.  You are able to identify potential issues and implement solutions that benefit both short and long-term organizational objectives.
• A strategic mindset! You are able to see the forest through the trees and align objectives with organizational goals.
