Job Responsibilities
1. Communications and Public Relations
· Plan and execute raiSE’s overall Strategic Communication strategy to market raiSE’s events, programmes, and initiatives to increase public outreach, awareness, membership and programme engagement levels, while ensuring our branding and public persona is well managed.
· Utilise a range of platforms across earned, owned, and paid media in support of raiSE’s objectives and activities, which may include conferences, members engagement sessions throughout the year, grant funding, capability development programmes, public outreach campaigns and thought leadership pieces.
· Development of communications materials for a content calendar which may include social media content, longform articles, annual report, videos, EDMs, media releases, emcee scripts; and media materials such as media releases, advisories, spokesperson briefs to reach the public, partners, Social Enterprise members, and stakeholders. The role may be supported by a content production agency.
· Work with other corporate functions (Finance, Admin, Human Resource) and the management team to communicate internal updates to the organisation’s processes and policies.
· Manage all incoming enquiries with the help of the administrative team with FAQs that are in line with raiSE’s PR messages.
2. Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
· Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) brief documents to engage external agencies, evaluate proposals, submit approval papers for recommendations.
· Project manage and build good relationships with multiple vendors (PR agency, video production agency etc) and platform partners (Meta, Linkedin etc).
· Work closely with Social Enterprise members of raiSE to understand their work to effectively identify suitable Social Enterprises for various key messages. The manager will also be responsible for scheduling shoots, managing timelines, requesting for additional content etc.
3. Paid Media and Reporting
· Plan and execute a paid media strategy to achieve the organisation’s communications objectives.
· Monitor, track and optimise the effectiveness of digital campaigns and communications strategies and keep track KPI progress throughout the year.
· Prepare and present quarterly updates to the Public Engagement and Partnership sub-Committee and the main raiSE Board.
4. Website and CRM refresh
raiSE is currently in the midst of a year-long website and CRM refresh project
· Take lead in developing the key messages and working with selected agency to design and develop the user experience and interface (UI/UX) of the new website.
· Work with internal teams to ensure that each team’s programmes and objectives are communicated accurately and effectively on the new website
· Ensure that CRM and website is integrated well to effectively meet KPIs.
· This role will be supported by an internal project manager and external vendors.
Specific Requirements
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and communications, and public affairs is a must.
· Prior involvement in social impact advocacy, corporate social responsibility, or a related field will be an advantage.
· Passion for social impact and a strong commitment to driving positive change.
· Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
· Ability to work independently, while building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders and working collaboratively towards shared goals.
· Experience in developing and implementing advocacy strategies and campaigns along with working knowledge of social media marketing, performance marketing, and email marketing.
· Exceptional project management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously towards timely completion.
· Proven ability in fronting and working with senior executives to deliver strategic outcomes.
· Strong intercultural awareness, team orientation, adaptability, and ability to work across teams.
· Strong work ethic, ability to demonstrate initiative, ownership, and manage multiple priorities.
