• Control the flow of merchandise by ensuring associates are replenishing merchandise, making products readily available to customers

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are a part of the store executive team and will be in charge of one or more departments as well as various functional areas throughout the store. The performance of your key responsibilities is necessary to the success of the store. You will also have a significant role in leading associate development as well as assessing and evolving your own development. The manner in which you perform these responsibilities will vary depending upon on many factors, including the store at which you work, the composition of the store team, the departments or areas that you oversee and your experience. This is a salaried, full-time position; the number of hours may vary from week to week.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• Multiple years experience managing a significant retail volume in a fast paced customer service environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a large team of associates
• Anticipate challenges and obstacles developing solutions to these problems
• Experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
• Experience working with all levels of management, building partnerships
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Open and close the store on an as needed basis
• Ability to occasionally work overnight

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the sales floor
• Physical activity includes bending, stopping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis

The Manager, Business Effectiveness is responsible for contributing to the strengthening of the relationship between the bank and its clients, promoting engagement with staff across key developmental areas. The role applies knowledge to set the overall direction for employees, ensuring consistency in execution and accountability. The Manager, Business Effectiveness develops and tracks client prospects, as well as exercises independent judgement within defined policies and procedures. Coordinating with business development stakeholders regarding enhancement recommendations and continuously improving administrative practices, onboarding, training, and development. The role participates in sourcing, onboarding and transition talent, identifying and leading opportunities to enhance operational processes and employees’ productivity.

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.   

Our Product Management and Innovation group is looking for an energetic and driven product manager to join our growing Digital Platforms Group, which is responsible for software-based products and services that expand and enhance the capabilities of the FreeStyle Libre platform, the world’s #1 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solution.

What you’ll work on

• Define and advance the strategy and roadmap
• Identify and prioritize unmet user needs, and translate them into product requirements
• Collaborate with product designers to define the total user experience
• Plan and execute formative design research and usability testing
• Collaborate with software engineering to implement and test new features and/or products
• Train internal stakeholders on new features and/or products
• Collaborate with product marketing to produce promotional and/or educational content
• Provide on-market product support to Global Commercial Operations
• Drive the use of advanced analytics to generate (1) deep insights about product utilization and (2) real-world outcomes data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years' experience or MBA with at least 2 years of related experience
