The Capital Markets Accounting Team is responsible for the integrity and timeliness of the Capital Markets business units’ financial reporting. In this role you will report to the senior manager within the accounting group. You will embody the CIBC’s One Finance Vision and Guiding Principles.

How You’ll Succeed
Accounting and Controls – You drive accurate, complete, and timely inputs to the various reporting groups. You have experience working with various teams to build functioning controls and reconciliations. Inspire adherence to timing in Service Level Agreements and support the investigation and analysis of different methodologies by liaising with the Front Office, CFO group, Accounting Policy, Reporting, Reconciliations, Technology, and Operations teams.

You’re a certified professional. You have current accreditation and good standing in CPA, or working towards your CPA designation, with 3+ years of relevant work experience. MBA or CFA is an asset.
You can demonstrate experience in Capital Markets accounting, in order to support the oversight and governance functions. This includes enhancement of financial controls across multiple groups. You have strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Reporting requirements for Financial Instruments. You understand interest rate products, repos/rev repos, bonds, cross currencies, forwards, and other vanilla and non-standard derivative transactions. It’s an asset if you have experience in automating manual processes such as with VBA, Alteryx or visualizing data using Tableau or PowerBI.

What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Manager, Real Estate Credit Risk, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of real estate credits made up of commercial mortgages, interim construction, and large corporate real estate financings located across Canada. You will adjudicate credit applications within delegated lending authority and ensure that line lending officers exercise sound credit practices through periodic consultation and visits. You will also be required to liaise closely with CIBC business officers and other risk managers in managing credit risk transactions. How you’ll succeed
Assess credit applications - Review the actual and proforma cash flow of real estate assets and financial history of sponsors to assess exposure to the Bank from a risk/return perspective. You’ll also approve or decline credit applications within your designated portfolio and work with the Senior Director, Vice President and more where applications exceed your delegated limits.
Monitor risk - Provide ongoing assessment of the portfolio, including the timely review of risk ratings, as well as the monitoring of action plans for high risk/watch list accounts and accounts that could potentially be added to the high risk/watch list accounts list.
Establish action plans and prepare recommendations - Describe corrective measures to be implemented to address credit related issues, as well as develop corrective measures to address credit related issues and monitor the effectiveness of such measures. You’ll partner with Risk Management colleagues and front-line relationship management teams on credit risk management matters and assist the relationship managers and market leaders to recommend the best approach to fulfil their credit risk mandate.

As a Service Manager within the Endpoint Security Services Team, you will play a leadership role in the lifecycle of various Endpoint Security tools and processes. o Cross-functional partners including Security/Desktop/Server Engineering Team(s), Enterprise Security Operations, Infrastructure Operations, and Financial Crimes Technology to evolve Endpoint Security through Project Delivery, Roadmap, and Continuous Improvement (Backlog) initiatives.
o Downstream stakeholders such as the Service Desk, Desktop Support Teams, and Business Partners to identify areas of friction and introduce mitigations that endeavor to strike an appropriate balance between Operational and Security risk. Explain the value and purpose of controls, and work to define process that accommodate business objectives through Exemption Processes and Approval Workflows.
o Regional Partners and Subsidiaries to influence and/or ensure strategic alignment to the Enterprise, and reduce the number of unique tools in the environment.
o Vendors and Industry Partners to develop and maintain relationships, and guidance towards successful delivery that is aligned with CIBC's strategy and goals.
· Communicating to Information Security and CIBC Senior Leadership Project Status updates, Service Health, Service Metrics, Business Cases, and Platform Roadmaps through a variety of forums and vehicles. Provide informed recommendations to enhance Endpoint Security in the Enterprise.
· Participate in Regulatory/Audit engagements, Scorecard Activities, Benchmarking and Red-Team Assessments and provide interpretation and action plans resulting from these engagements. Aid in the reporting of key processes to ensure their effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with management objectives. Provide input into all aspects of the Enterprise Security portfolio.
· Stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities to enhance Endpoint Security while reducing overall cost and complexity in optimal security outcomes. Seek technologies that have demonstrated success in similar implementations and improve the end user’s experience with security controls.
Who you are
· You can demonstrate experience in a variety of Endpoint security platforms and ecosystem as a whole, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) services, Vulnerability Management, Antimalware Suites, Application Control (Allowlisting), Endpoint Firewalls, Endpoint Encryption, DLP and Device Control, as well as familiarity with Configuration Management platforms (i.e. SCCM, Intune, Tanium), and Least Privilege technologies.
· You appreciate how all these technologies work together in concert to enable a layered strategy of Defense in Depth, how they complement security imperatives, and how they impact the employee experience.
· You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and have 10+ years in Information Security or Information Technology roles. It is an asset if you have a previous Project Management or Project Delivery experience. It is an asset if you possess the following certifications:

What you’ll be doing
The Associate Portfolio Manager (APM), Fixed Income, is an integral member of the Fixed Income Team and will be an instrumental contributor to the management of our active Core and Core Plus portfolios, working closely with Senior Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers and Analysts. In this role, you'll be responsible for actively managing portfolios by contributing to the development of investment strategies and trading implementation. Strategies will incorporate views on duration, yield curve, sector positioning, as well as security valuation and selection. How you’ll succeed

Who you are

You are a certified professional. Completion of a related undergraduate degree, MBA and/or CFA preferred. A good understanding of economics and familiarity with derivative instruments is an asset. Approximately five years of significant fixed-income experience within a broker-dealer or buy-side institution is required.

What you’ll be doing
The Professional Practices team within Internal Audit provides guidance and support to the Internal Audit department in a number of ways, including audit methodology, quality assurance and reporting. As the Senior Audit Manager, Professional Practices – Reporting, you will report to the Director – Reporting & Communications. We are seeking a Data Science Manager for Lingo based in our Alameda, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), our product headquarters.
This highly visible role, will lead the Lingo Data Science team where you will work alongside Product & Engineering teams to build the next-generation Biowearables. Data Science activities will focus on a wide range of activities including personalized recommendation systems, sensor data analytics, signal processing algorithm development, predictive model development, etc.
What you'll do
Manage a team of highly skilled data scientists to accomplish team goals.
Hands on support to develop machine learning models to solve clustering, classification, regression, simulation, and optimization problems on large-scale data sets to deliver a personalized customer experience.
Analyze biological data collected from integrated consumer and/or medical biowearable sensor systems, draw insights, and present results in a cohesive, intuitive, and simple manner to functional stakeholders.
Analyze and manage large amounts of structured and/or unstructured data to discover trends and patterns, and build analytics models. Apply visualization, analytical and data mining techniques.
Examine data sets and determine the best end-to-end analysis plan to address key business questions and proactively identifies opportunities for significant operational, process or system level product improvements.
Conduct advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships. ANOVA, PCA, scenario, regression, modeling, forecasting and etc.
Design and develop signal processing algorithm for the biological signal feature detection and metrics calculation. Generate clinical evidence to support Consumer App design and product launch.

Qualifications:

Possesses a deep understanding of data science methodologies and concepts.
