The Role

The Director, High Velocity Sales is responsible for the overall sales growth strategies and results of AspenTech’s High Velocity Sales in APJ. General Summary:
The Associate Director, Sales is responsible for leading the Country's Key Account team and for improving all commercial processes and tools, in particular launch and key account excellence. Position Overview:

As the Sales & Event Director, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and managing all aspects of event planning and execution. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and enhance our reputation for delivering outstanding events. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend sales expertise with creative event planning to achieve business objectives and exceed customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cultivating relationships with prospective clients and partners.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional campaigns and materials.
• Oversee the entire event planning process, from concept development and budgeting to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Ensure seamless coordination of all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and attendee registration.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales and event processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with a passion for delivering unique and memorable event experiences.
• Proficiency in sales and event management software/tools is a plus.

Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 70 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Director will work closely with the Senior Divisional Director (SDD) / Divisional Director (DD) and Family Service (FS) Heads to assess and address issues affecting the division/ organization. He/She will oversee operations of the centres, providing executive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance; identify and address staffing requirements for efficient operations, and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains people while driving the organisation's mission; and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out the mission and vision of the organisation.
• Supervise staff to ensure that the centre meets requirements set by MSF or any other ministries.
• Direct the planning and implementation of new programmes.
• Analyse trends and needs of services and identify services for development.
• Recruit personnel and develop competent staff through supervision and ensuring opportunities for professional growth.
• Ensure orientation and training programmes for the administrative support staff and volunteers are carried out according to guidelines.
• Oversee and streamline processes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of the centre.
• Establish and ensure that proper processes and Standard Operating Procedures are set up in accordance to the Service Standard Requirements.
• Manage and be accountable for the annual operating budget of the agency to achieve optimum use of resources for the agency.
• Implement policies and plans adopted by the Board of Management to achieve effectiveness of the centre.
• Ensure that operations are carried out professionally and according to agreed performance benchmarks.
• Manage resources prudently within approved budget guidelines set by management.
• Develop publicity plans to maintain the organisation's public standing and image.
• Network with government bodies and other stakeholders towards excellence in service provision and community development.
• Develop marketing and branding plans for organisation.
• Oversee supervision, development and welfare of staff.
• Report to the Programme and Service Committee (PSC), Board of Management and MSF periodically on the progress and results of the work of the centre/ division.
• Develop the mission and vision of the organisation and ensuring that they are achieved.
• Report to the FSC Board of Management on changes that will enhance the services of the organisation.
• Set strategic directions for the centre/ division in accordance to the mission and vision.
• Formulate and develop strategic plans at organisational level.
• Outcome Management.
• Undertake any other responsibilities and duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Degree in Social Work or related discipline & Diploma in Management.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory and service planning capacity.
• Prior working experience in Social Service sector is preferred.
• Possess strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage various stakeholders.
