Disability Support is the central specialist service dedicated to providing academic related support, advice and guidance for disabled students. The service also provides advice and guidance to staff to support them in meeting the University's duty to disabled students within the context of equality legislation and inclusive education.

The service incorporates Durham University Assessment Centre (DUAC) and Durham University Specialist Study Support Service (DUSSSS).

A busy team of Disability Practitioners offer student consultation appointments on both a bookable and drop-in basis. This gives students the opportunity to confidentially ask about disability disclosure and support; to ask about the impact of their disability on study and to explore academic reasonable adjustments.

Your role will be to provide administrative support to the Head of Department and the team of Disability Support staff.
