The Service Asset & Configuration Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of the ITIL process to support Configuration and Asset Management. They will hold responsibility for Hardware Asset Management (including discovery, inventory and maintenance of records).

The post-holder will be responsible for undertaking research and development activities to underpin and support future IT procurement of both hardware and related assets. They will be required to maintain and track an inventory of Experian IT assets and produce relevant reporting and documentation.

They will need to apply their initiative and experience, working independently and effectively, to develop CMS functionality and processes within the Service Management Software toolset application, ensuring alignment with other systems and services in accordance with Experian’s IT Strategy.

The post holder will work closely with other members of the IT Service Management team to develop the Service Management toolset application, undertaking ongoing Continuous Service Improvement activities, and liaising with all ITS staff to ensure that processes and procedures are embedded and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities/Activities

• Proposes and agrees scope of the Configuration Management processes, function, the Configuration Items that are to be controlled, and the information that is to be recorded.
• Develops, documents, and publishes Configuration Management standards, Configuration Management Plans and procedures, ensuring that these documents are updated as and when appropriate.
• Working in conjunction with HR, successfully recruiting replacement and additional members of the team
• Managing members of Configuration Management team on a day-to-day basis, including conducting regular performance review meetings with direct reports
• Ensures the defined Configuration Management processes and procedures are adhered to by staff carrying out the tasks of Configuration Management and where appropriate initiates appropriate training to rectify non-conformance.
• Initiates either internal or external audits to check that the physical IT inventory is consistent with the CMDB/CMS and takes appropriate corrective action

• Continuously evaluates the existing Service Management tools to ensure that it is are configured to meet the requirements of the defined process and procedures and when changes are made to the process and procedures ensures that this are implemented within the Service Management tool
• Investigates, recommends and implements ways in which supporting tools (such as discovery tools) can assist in ensuring that data stored within the CMDB is qualitative and correct
• Ensures that Configuration Management provides appropriate management information reports for other processes such as Problem Management, Change Management as and when required.

The Service & Billing team is responsible for opening the majority of our client accounts and providing our clients with

access to our many products across various different platforms. The Service and Billing Team have to ensure all billing requirements are met on each account. They are also responsible for processing renewal contracts and raising the relevant invoices, along with any account amendments and credit notes. They have monthly deadlines that they work hard as a team to achieve, whilst providing a high level of service to all our internal and external clients. What you’ll be doing 

The Global Network Build organization is seeking a Network Build Engineer to provide subject matter expertise in support of the Global WAN which spans all business units and regions.  This role will create the Low-Level Design (LLD) and Deployment Engineering plan for projects which optimize, enhance, or expand our connectivity footprint for consumption of Revenue, Non-Revenue, and Cloud based resources.  Additionally, this role will work closely with security compliance, engineering, and operational teams to maintain a resilient and secure network infrastructure to adhere to stringent Regulatory, Governmental, and Industry security control requirements. The team, work with a variety of manufacturers including Fortinet, Cisco, Citrix and Checkpoint and relevant qualifications would be advantageous.  Must have a good understanding of IP, VPN, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, Switching, Routers, load balancers & Firewalls. 

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

• Provide network design and implementation strategies, migration plans, and technical project support for low to high level complexity projects. 

• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. 

• Prepares Business Cases, financial analysis spreadsheets, deployment plans, and detailed bills of materials in preparation for presentation to Leadership to review for new deployments 

• Perform hands on configurations for new deployments 

• Prepares Build documents and Operational Support procedures and performs knowledge transfer to the Network Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding of new deployments 

• Design, implement and manage the network and security systems within a secure multi-tenant cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, & etc.) environment.

This position is focused exclusively on operations, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the database systems.
