Your new role
As an Intellectual Property Solicitor or Trade Mark Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Playing a pivotal role in helping to build the Brands Group as it expands its practice.
- Conducting availability searches and advising on trade marks and design availability for use and registration.
- Providing strategic advice for trade mark and design filing.
- Filing and prosecuting trade mark and design applications through to registration.
- Handling inter parties disputes before trade mark registries.
- Supervising worldwide trade mark watching programs.
- Assisting with practice management and business development.
- Supervising and training staff.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with 1+ years PQE in trade mark and design matters.
- Intellectual curiosity and versatility.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent client relationship communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to develop and work in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
- Language skills in Spanish, French, German, Arabic, and Chinese.
