Your Impact and Contribution

This position has responsibility for ongoing development and execution of strategic sales plans to promote CBA’s correspondent banking services to financial institutions across Asia. Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control.  The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

• Manage confidential information within the Blackstone Credit & Insurance business, across Blackstone business units and externally, including information which potentially constitutes material non-public information (“MNPI”) or deemed subject to the EU Market Abuse Regulation.

Qualifications:

• An attorney with 4+ years of experience in a law firm, regulator, and/or as a compliance professional (preferably at an asset manager). Experience in a control room or sitting on a trading desk is strongly preferred.

• Must evidence a solid understanding of insider trading law, possess ability to independently perform analysis of information to determine whether it potentially constitutes MNPI, and document analysis in a clear and organized manner.

• Ability to be proactive in novel situations and to independently manage projects to conclusion. 

• Must be a strong and independent thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience liaising between business team members and legal and compliance colleagues.

• Must have a tolerance for ambiguity, confidence and a pragmatic, conscientious work ethic.

• Knowledge of and ability to communicate risks, best practices and regulatory requirements (U.S. and international).

Expected annual base salary range:

Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control.  The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

• Providing middle office Trade Finance support and connecting Product, Credit Risk, Legal and Operations for our Receivables Purchase portfolio Roles and Responsibilities for TTS products including Global Accounts Receivable Program (GARP), Global Credit Insured Accounts Receivable (CIAR), Supplier Chain FInance (SCF), Distribution Finance (DF) .

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience
• Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Role Description

Within the GTB Corporate Sales Team, this candidate is to support the strategic planning and business growth for the Corporate Client segment in Singapore, and to support various commercial activities including balance sheet & working capital analysis, preparation of pitches and marketing materials, client visits, pipeline management and execution of GTB transactions.

Participate in strategic business planning and various initiatives for the Corporate Client segment. Support and monitor clients’ needs through financial analysis and full understanding of working capital advisory approach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with the senior GTB Corporate Sales to achieve quantitative and qualitative performance objectives of the Team.
2. Support by leading some of the strategic business planning for the business and various commercial activities including balance sheet and working capital analysis, market research, proactively reach out to clients in rates quotations/utilisations/enquiries, preparation of client account plan, pitches and marketing materials and pipeline management.
3. Closely work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Banking & Corporate Finance, Risks, Legal, Product Specialists) to ensure that the deal flow is being achieved and execute GTB transactions including but not limited to traditional and structured trade finance solution, supply chain finance and receivables solutions.

Basic Requirements

1. Related 1-3 years of working experience (4-5 years for Associate position) as a front line in trade finance, structured trade, transaction banking or audit. Relevant experience in marketing and executing working capital products, such as receivables finance, supply chain finance and trade finance transaction, will be highly valued.
2. Basic market knowledge of client’s requirements, product capabilities and market positioning of peer competitors.
3. Good credit analytical and presentation skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires close contacts and cooperation with different stakeholders (Risks, Legal, Sales, and Relationship Manager).
