Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to three million small businesses, thousands of middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.
As a Product Manager for Receivables, you will work as part of a team to successfully deliver the receivables product strategy to APAC clients covering all segments. Your role will include product development and commercialization, driving revenue growth, cost management, risk management, client solutioning, active engagement with key stakeholders including compliance, operations, tech, legal etc. In addition, you will work closely with Digital Channels product managers to improve bank channel capabilities, research and provide feedback on fast changing digitalization activities in the banking industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales and solution teams in structuring client solution
- Support sales teams in preparing responses to RFPs
- Work closely with country product partners to improve product & service capabilities
- Focus on driving inbound business in FI and corporate segments. Identify cross sell opportunities
- Analysis of core drivers which include monthly pipeline, implementation, revenue and volumes to identify key issues impacting the business
- Support product development strategy and roadmap for the receivables product including BRD writeup, designing solution, support testing etc.
- Participate in strategy development around innovation and new clearing memberships
- Gather market intelligence on changing receivables landscape
- Manage BAU product with product competitor gap analysis, client pricing and P&L analysis and reporting
- Active monitoring of regulatory, compliance policy changes and apply guidelines to processes and procedures
- Develop product-training materials and sales tools
- Active participation in risk management forums
- Lead discussions with third party service providers during service and cost review
Requirements:
- 10+ years, international treasury management experience with good demonstrable knowledge of receivables products including Digital wallets, EIPP, VAM etc.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- High integrity, energy and exhibiting ambition and drive
- Demonstrate initiative, follow-through and the ability to work with limited supervision
- Good decision making and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to learn quickly, core capabilities including end-to-end operational and technology workflows, processes and key business contacts, client buying behavior by different segments and specific global and regional solutions
- Good at detailed work with strong analytical skills
- Experienced in managing the delivery of services in a matrixed environment with a diverse portfolio of partners and stakeholders
- Ability to work across multiple functional teams, across time zones, to set direction, enable sales activities / initiatives, drive and implement change, and solve problems
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong in Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; able to put together reports/decks, Visio
- Global Cash Management and AI / Machine Learning based Receivables Recon solution knowledge will be an added advantage
