The purpose of the Child and Youth Program (CYP) Leader is to provide appropriate specialized developmental care and instruction for children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years in one or more CY programs. This includes the provision of guidance, assistance, and mentoring for the CY Program Assistants.

Mentor. Mentors assigned CY Program Assistant team. Works with senior employees to provide instruction and training to lower-level employees. Assists lower-level employees in completing the Standardized Module Training. Models appropriate behaviors and techniques for working with children and youth.

Curriculum. Plans activities for program participants based on observed needs of individual children and youth. Continually reviews activities and plans for appropriateness. My clients are a very well-established manufacturing company based in Tameside. We are now looking for them an Injection Moulding Tool Setter / Head Technician. They design, manufacturer, supply and distribute to over 100 countries worldwide with Head Offices in the UK, Canada, and Australia. Salary is dependent on experience
40 hours per week – 08.00am - 17.00pm, Monday to Friday. 1 hour – Unpaid Lunch Break.

The role:
You will be responsible for the setting and running of the Injection moulding machine. The focus of the role is to look at ongoing process optimisation and the trialing of New Mould tools. Reporting and making recommendations on existing tooling and new tooling. The successful candidate be required to have a proven track record in this area. Be able to read and understand technical tool drawings as input is required at design stage.

Experience:

At this time, they will not be leading the team, however this could progress into the role and previous team leader experience would certainly be an advantage
Will need to have a really good understanding of tool making and design
Candidate will be expected to assist in the day-to-day tool setting, more important process optimisation and Quality of product. Tool/ material trials are carried out when required
If the candidate has had previous experience carrying of new tool and material trial they will already be competent on reporting and offer clear concise information
Understanding of AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
To run 2 shift system, 4 setters each shift eventually.
